OMFG! :O
I'm like in shock here! About all of it (Rob and Rav the most naturally, that was well done) but Chester confronting Sam, cause I thought for sure she'd put him under her spell or something, and Robin and Jen's confrontation over Patrick's treatment! I was like - what the ****? Downplaying intensity? Is that even morally or ethically responsible for a doctor, but then really her statement about 'the ends justifying the means' made sense. Kinda made her sound a little sinister or crazy but all pioneers sound crazy at some point before they make their big break so yeah... wow. Poor Patrick though... 0_0
Chester and Sam - I read that whole thing thinking; this is sweet, this is nice, happy families, okay... and then Chester at the end I was practically shouting 'Yes!' thank *** someone can see through the act! Though having said all that I'm thinking that Sam isn't a bad person at heart just misguided perhaps... and is really only ever wanting that one thing that she feels matters which is her family. Must be bad to think the whole world seems against you on letting that happen again, huh?
Hmm.
Rob and Rav - I have to admit I sorta saw that coming but at the same time was almost wary of it. I thought the mere notion of hitting on a widower still yet to even bury his wife was beyond the realms of acceptable behaviour. Having said that I also wanted it, cause... d'uh, it's Rob and **** it the man deserves a bit of happiness. Additionally I must also say you did it in a very tasteful way, bringing them together like that. You could almost call it fate for the context of this story in being that here's Rob with a infant stepson and no other half and there's Rav who works in a maternity ward with babies no less to fill that void - so that I thought was kinda sweet. It wasn't rushed I think. You built to that well. And to be honest even Patty, for all her good-intentions, seems to know best too. She could see it before they could I think (attraction, perhaps?) so that made me smile. As for whether or not this is a one-time moment of weakness thing or something more remains to be seen. But awww, that was so sweet I think I'm gonna have to read that again!
Great as always!! Can't wait for more!
