ok hers some more stuff. well rav we cant wait till you update but in the mean time im gonna work on mine.
Mel winced painfully as she kept an eye out on the younger martial arts students.
"Master ishihara, I'm sorry I couldnt be of more help with my injuries like they are. "
Mel said with a bow to her teacher. Her teacher dismissed it with a wave of his hand,
"Your apology isnt nessicary, How ever I do wish that you would stop calling me master."
"I'm sorry sir, its just habit I guess."
mel apologized again. Her teacher smiled warmly at her.
"Only those who are slaves refer to a master, you are a student, not a slave."
Mel smiled but sighed.
"something troubles you?"
"Sensei, I'm worried about my parents and my family. Lately it seems tense despite the togetherness, like the calm before the storm."
Mel said softly as she gathered up her weapons.
"Remember that the journy of a thousand miles starts with one step, once you travel in the direction of your fears and accept them, you can overcome them."
Mel's heart lept as she saw her dad step out of the black SUV.
"Yes sensei."
"Mel?"
A little boy of only three tugged on her hand. She smiled as she bent down and picked up the little boy despite her pain.
"Yes danny?"
"Can you show us the Shadow technique again?"
"Of course."
She said as she looked up to see her dad step into the dojo. She smiled at him and clapped her hands as the little kids got into their ranks.
"Let's review the shadow technique. First take up horse riding stance."
She instructed as she demonstrated with the kids trying to mimic her stance. She then brought her hands up to her chest, holding them in a specail sign.
"Now take deep breaths in and out, in and out. concentrate on your breathing."
Rob looked on in intrest. Her teacher then suddenly spun a kunai and threw it at her dead on. Rob let out a gasp, ready to beat the old man with in an inch of his life for hurting his daughter. Rob blinked and she wasnt there.
"wow!"
"cool!"
The little kids choursed as she dropped down lightly from the ceiling and held a needle in the perfect kill position on her teachers neck.
"And that is the art of the shadow technique. Allowing your opponant to think your off gaurd while slipping under his defences."
Her teacher bowed out the class and Mel went up to hug Rob.
"Daddy! What are you doing here?"
"Cant a dad just come to see his daughter at training once in a while? That was really good."
Mel smiled proudly.
"Thanks daddy, Its my best technique."
Rob ruffeled his daughters hair.
"I can tell, didnt you use that technique on Fribby once when you were twelve?"
"I dunno, maybe."
Mel led Rob over to her teacher by his hand and bowed to her teacher again.
"Ishihara-sensei, this is my dad, Rob Bourdon."
Rob and her teacher shook hands.
"Your daughter has a talent for fighting and much dicipline for the arts of ninjitsu."
"You are a great teacher to be able to put up with her ADHD."
Rob said as he smiled at his daughter. Mel smiled as she went to go change in the locker room. Mel and Rob drove around LA for a while.
"Daddy what's wrong?"
Mel asked, knowing something was up.
"You know we're going into the studio right Mel?"
"Yeah what of it?"
"Well not only that, they want us to work on the bus while we go on the road. I want to bring you guys with me but your mom and brother cant miss work. I know you'd come in a heart beat and I want you to, but.........."
Rob trailed off.
"Daddy, I'm comming with you. I dont care about being on a bus or anything like that, I just want to spend time with you."
Rob cracked a small smile. He was trying so hard to not be made to look like the bad guy in the family. He was already letting fox stay with chester untill they go on tour. Fribby already resented him as it is and sara, Rob knew she was sneaking out late at night and comming back all hungover and drunk, but he said nothing. Mel was starteled as Rob pulled into a vacent parking lot and just brokedown crying.
"I dont ******* know what the **** I'm supposed to do any more. No matte how hard I try everyone seems to just push me away."
"That's not true daddy......"
Mel said as she tried to comfort her dad.
"But in the end it just seems like I cant do anything right any more. I know Fox hates me I know fribby hates me but its not like I have a choice Its my job."
Mel was speechless. She was at loss for words. She loved her daddy with all her heart and she knew what he was saying was true. She saw the icy glares he got from Fribby when ever they would pass on the stairs and how Sara refused to talk to Rob any more. mum was a nervous wreck, comming extreamly close to the razors edge of tipping over to a mental break down. Even she was being filed down by the stress mentally.
"People always think its easy going on the road playing music and touring the world. That's just the glamorous side. It dosent say anything about missing your family."
"We always miss you when your on tour."
"I know you do but Rav said if I left once more, we were done."
Mel gasped. How could mum want to split up the family. Without Rob it would be even worse then it is now.
"Then i dont care what mum or Fribby says, I'm going with you. where ever you go I dont care as long as I can be with you daddy."
Rob gave her a watery smile as he ruffeled her hair
