I do not have AT&T. I think I will go ahead and get a prepaid phone. What do you mean you have it covered?Yes, I too can't wait for this to go down. Too bad we're not doing the 1000 in a month.

Another thing that Mamito can shed light on is getting Mexican vehicle insurance...
Good idea on the insurance, and will a verizon cell phone work in Mexico.

I'm going to need vehicle insurance as well mine is insured here already I don't know if that would count in Mexico. And as far as cell phones, does Verizon work down there? If not I guess I will need a prepaid thanks

Bill, No your insurance in the states will not work south of the border. I looked it up yesterday and it's roughly $10.00/day and upto $20.00 depending on how much coverage you want.

I will try to call Verizon this week and see if they will work down there and if so what the charges would be. I'll let you know.

How about some more race info!!!!!

-Borrego to San Matias

- Rider change at Borrego (crossing highway 3) - Take time to check and inspect the bike, tires. - This is the point where many teams feel "the race starts" - Time to stretch her legs and go for it - Nice stretch to open the throttle. - Fast with small and medium whoops. - Turn on the camera and race along with the bike

One thing that I think is important to say is that be quad does not sit their idle waiting for a rider to get there.

If he is late the quad leaves and we can try to arrange a spot to get him in somewhere else.

Good idea or not??

its shouldnt happen.. since ill have 3 chase trucks and radios. so we´ll have communication with the rider and other vehicles...

since well have communication. we shouldnt experience the bs of the 2011 , 1000..

but yeah he should stop . unless were really close to it. but again all my chase drivers are experience people so we should be good. and you guys can see im just bringing a few people, LOL

btw heres some good thread about the new spot tracker that Score is using..

I'm going to want to insure it for about 12000.00 cause that's what it will cost to get it close to where it's at now, with the purchase of a brand new bike. And if verizon doesn't work then I'll go for the prepaid phone, not a big deal. Or get a sat phone.

Mamito I need some lighting, can you give me some pricing on some nice led lighting, I went rippin through a 840' tunnel Sunday with no lights and it probably wasn't one of my wiser moves. What do you think about like a six inch dual row led light bar with mounts for the bumper area.

I'm thinking cruising seeing as I don't really ride at night here. It's a lot of mountain terrain , tons of rock, and old coal mines, so it not really safe at night, just nice to have and the stocker doesn't fit with the shock ressies mounted up.

Man that sucks! Seems like you have had one problem after another lately. Hope it goes well.

Hey you had mentioned that we need a helmet that is SNELL 2010 approved. Mine has a sticker on the back that says SNELL & DOT approved. It does not say 2010 any where on it. Do you think it will work??

I have looked online and have not found any that have the "2010" on them but say SNELL or DOT approved.
