Man that sucks! Seems like you have had one problem after another lately. Hope it goes well.
Hey you had mentioned that we need a helmet that is SNELL 2010 approved. Mine has a sticker on the back that says SNELL & DOT approved. It does not say 2010 any where on it. Do you think it will work??

I have looked online and have not found any that have the "2010" on them but say SNELL or DOT approved.
thanks man. it all has come down to being lazy at the rebuild. and the mec not properly checking everything for damages. so eventually something damage that hasnt been fix or replaced caused the damage of everything else.. thats pretty much what it came down to. but its ok leason learned and now this new mec it taking care of me as it should.. so we should be good..once i fix it

so far for the SNELL suposely it shoudl say a date on it since it expires every 5 years.. maybe its not really snell , ill be getting one but way later to wait for a nice rockymountain atv special

Not sure if you're looking for a specific brand or not but RM has some EVS T7 on sale right now for $152.00. I like the look of those helmets. I may get one myself!!

The klim f4 helmet I just got has the snell 2010 and the dot badging on it. I've noticed all the helmets that have that on them are pretty high end, but you only get one nugget, so protect it. By the way the klim f4 is awesome, super light and really breathable.

The great helmet debate has always intrigued me... we will spend thousands of dollars on our bikes & gear for cosmetics, but people always cheap out on helmets... how much is your brain worth to you?

Now, the cross to the coast.

Mile 230-300

-Terrain:dirt road, rocky uphill, rocky stretch, wash and lots of small rivers to cross.

-Fast but challenging.

**Tip for all rider:

-Make sure that for all, you physically see Baja pits fill up the gas tank all the way to the top!!

-First 20 miles: easy, fast, fun

Then you get to mikes sky ranch

- Next 15 miles: rough, rocky uphill, follow by rocky roads

- Then you get to El Coyote ranch: Nice, fast, roads.

Last 20 miles: Washes, crossing small rivers, open road, fast.

- Done when you hit highway 1 Colonet.

Kind of long but these show the terrain really well.

Wild Bill are you ready for this!?!?!?!?! I hope this get you excited. It gives me that tingle just behind my nuts LOL. When I am done I will put this all together and get it out to you guys so you can review it and make suggested changes.
Summit - miles 100 to ~mile 160 (Saldana) Wild Bills section - terrain- worst, bumpy, rocky..... - rider must be the "workhorse, best shape and smart" - fresh new rider at mile 100 - to get to mile 100 does take awhile, rider must leave early. - ****the main objective for this rider is to take care of the bike and get it to the next rider.******** - If rider is careless or reckless and something goes wrong with the bike, the race is over! (breakdown and there is no way to get help fast).

I will be ready and I'll keep the bike in good shape, I have to start working out real soon, combo of bow flex , p90, and riding ***** out should do it, and I need to ditch the smokes.

Yes I am. Once I get it all broken down we can decide who is riding which section. This of course is not set in stone. It will open 100% to changes and suggestions.

I have been doing P90X and have shed about 15 lbs. I think that it is a great workout.

I am excited to see some videos from your go pro!!

Ditching the smokes will definitely help you.

The Baja 1000 is less than a month away guys!! I hope that I am able to watch it. If you guys hear of network or website that is going to have it, give us a heads up. Time to pull out Dust to Glory.

The ims tank is awesome I only had to fill up once today and normally it's 2 to 3 times, and not much difference in weight, I'd say overall it a great investment. As soon as I figure out how to download some video from the go pro I'll put them up I had about three hours of different clips today and the battery held up perfectly. I had about a quarter charge left at the end of the day. I'm thinking a new mini sd card for each of us and probably a battery per rider as well. We can switch them all out in about a minute so it's a pretty quick change per rider.

Man I am surprised you have to fill up that often. I can go for a good 50 to 70 miles ride on one tank. My stock tank is 3.2 gallons. Cant wait to see some videos.

The tracking software will be assessing penalties, as well as giving teams, pit crew, and at-home spectators a way to track their vehicles and keep up to date on race progress. [/quote']
We're really excited about it, and you can research the user interface at Trackleaders.com to get a better feel for it.
paulfrenchy' date=' the tracking system will be done through this service; www.trackleaders.com
On race day, the SCORE International Homepage will be the live view of race tracking.
