1. me thinks Jeffy boy is nearing the end of his career. He is one of the best, and that is why people hate him (same reason so many hated on Earnhardt.) Personally, I don't like him just because of how he jumped ship from Ford to sign with Hendricks back in '92. Of course, if Ford had him actually SIGN a contract back then, it wouldn't have been an issue. Go Kasey Khane!
2. Yep, definately an engineering student...
3. Who's eddo? Sounds like a moron.
4. as a Christian, I really don't have a problem with the professor being anti-Christian, as long as he doesn't let it affect his teaching or grading practices, because, like you said DizzyMe, he is entitled to his opinion. In college, I had a Western Civ professor who was clearly Muslim, and very much anti-Christian. But while that came across in his teaching style, he didn't let it affect his grading. There were a couple times where it appeared that the one openly Muslim student got preferential treatment, but I got my A, so I didn't care.
5. Best.Answer.Ever.
6. we were all over for a bit, then there was a poll: sixes vs eddo at least sixes and I had substance behind our battle. This one just sucks.
7. After reading all this crap, I can't believe you people thought mine and sixes fight was weak...
8. So gouge your eyes out, and quit your whining already.
9. Phreakwars, If you don't like it, what were you doing there? and why are you so concerned with what happens there?
10. snopes.com Good stuff, but not written by Robin Williams
11. Why are the assembly and legislature getting involved? That is just politicking at it's finest. Want it to become legit? Put it on a ballot and see what the people- ALL THE PEOPLE -of California want. That way it's want the people want, not who has bought off what politician. Just cause there are loud obnoxious homosexuals that want to push their views on everyone doesn't mean that the whole state feels that way. Let the people speak. Kinda like here in AZ. We had a Legalize Marajuana proposistion on our ballots for three years. By listening to people you would have been nuts to think it wouldn't pass. But it didn't. 3 times it didn't. The people of the entire state spoke up and made the decision.
12. That eddo's a real bastard about stuff like that...
13. lol, you will learn- I am full of old jokes.
14. Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? or perhaps we should call the Waaaaambulance?

16. I would think that these people would be willing to be paid anything to rebuild their communities. Heck, Gimie an hour adn I betcha I could bring about 100 border-crossers that would LOVE to get paid $2 an hour to provide for thier families. Just because Bush recinded this act does not mean that people will not get paid what they are due to get the work done. Sure it may happen, but there isn't exactly a lot of money (mixed in with a TON of work to be done) in the region right now to be forcing employers to pay the same that areas not hit by Katrina need to pay. Nevermind that now workers rebuilding the cities won't have to be unionized, and thus don't have to pay uinon dues (this = more take home pay.) Gee, I wonder who'd be upset about that? Unions? hmmm... Unions in general, suck.
17. Here is the link to the BET website on the concert: bet.com
18. I really hope that I am reading more into this that what I read into the title of this telethon, otherwise Outlaw's first comment is right on. We need to, and especialy in situations like the Katrina recovery effort, get over ourselves in regards to race and color and just understand that we are all people. There is way to much at stake to get caught up on stupid issues like race. Just as long as we don't help any of those stinkin' Jews... KIDDING PEOPLE!
19. Last night, while flipping channels, I came across BET (Black Entertainment Television) and they had a telethon on to raise money for people affected by hurricane Katrina, called S.O.S. (Saving OurSelves) In the little that I watched they had some big name black movie stars, comedians, and singers (Aaron Neville did a cool redetion of Amazing Grace) but I couldn't get passed the self-centerdness of the telethons title- Saving OurSelves? Is this money only gonna be used to help black people? I know that the majority of the victims are black, but do we really want to segrate the victims based on color, or can they all just be "victims?" Was this title really the best that they could come up with? What do you think?
20. Seriously though- show me an 80+ year old white person that isn't racist a little bit. Not to defend their thoughts, but they came from a different time, a time where segregation was ok, where black people were thought of as less of a person. Yes they are wrong, but that is how they were raised.
21. I don't. Which proves that I am better than all of you.
22. and here I thought Bush caused it...
