True, but that process is difficult to follow (as it should be) and it is just easier to twist the rules to fit the desired outcome instead of actually changing them. I believe we can all agree that all laws and guidelines are worthless without enforcement. The speed limit sign does not stop speeding, it is the cop on the side of the road that has to enforce the rules or they become almost non-existent. The same is true with our constitution, we have everyone from the Whitehouse to the congress ignoring their role of enforcement of the Constitution and the many courts all twisting the meanings until they have no comparison to original intent. Why? Because as you said Hugo, the Constitution is nothing more to them than an impeedment to where they want to go and what they want to do so why would they play enforcement against themselves?

I am one person comming in after a weekend being away seeing how you guys have used up a lot of your time talking about me. Add up all your time together as a group obsessing about me and compare that to by 30 second post to reply to you, You might start to see my point.....but I doubt you will admit to it.

I don't know what your talking about Ali, this game RO started months ago with RO out of nowhere playing gay sex games with me. I did not want to "respond" to his games unless he was doing out of fun and sent him a private message saying exactly that. I told RO that in my experience, if someone is playing the gay sex games to be mean or angry, that it always ended badly with my opposition being pissed off. And as it turns out, I was right (as usual). RO started the gay games with me, then he could not compete, and is now pissed off beyone measure and even threatened to come find me in his anger. This entire thing was started, pressured, and has gotten out of control because of RO, not me, I tried to warn him and he ignored my warning. Why RO was compelled to start gay games with me I have no idea, but it seems me rejecting his advances has caused him a great deal of anger that he is now expressing. I guess women are not the only ones who get ugly when scorned.

Again, I was offering my own opinion, if you feel trying to turn what I said into what it was not, then I will reply to your intentional distortion of what I said. I agree that the founding fathers did not want the Government to live our lives for us, but unfortunately people on both sides of the asile have figured out how to gain massive amounts of personal power/money through the Government. They hide their actions in things like "social programs" and "environmental justice", but looking behind these things we see a huge trail of money/power that does not help the people, it only help the few in possition to take advantage. A common arguement I hear from people for this new role of Government is that times are different now and we cannot expect the founding father's to create a system that is good considering modern needs........ I usually ask why? They rarely have a reasonable answer, it is like the promise of "change". They have the catch phrases but no specifics. I honestly believe we are doomed to be socialist, we already are in many ways but it will get better/worse back and forth but each cycle freedom looses a little more ground to socialism.

People do not put this amount of their life into something that does not matter to them Ali. Notice how I am very rarely here on the weekends? I would not waste time here that could be instead used to be with my kids. The only time I will be here on the weekends is if the kids are gone, and even then, I can think of many things more important to do than to burn time on an internet forum with strangers...... What? All Muslims are not bad, just like not all Christians were involved in the Crusades. I just wish the Muslims would work harder to bring their radical elements under control as Christians have done. I really believe they must be the ones to act, Infidels attacking them really does not change their mindsets. New stories show this guy was spending a lot of time at a strip club like some of the 9/11 radicals, interesting how these radical elements of Islam are stict in some wasy and ignore their belief structure in other ways. Sure, there is a part that says they can act to "fool" the infidels to better fit in and attack us but they don't have to go to strip clubs to accomplish that.

As far as your last part, don't you think when the Government does take control of healthcare that certain things will be more strict? We are already involved in sin taxes where the Government is punnishing certain activities and foods that the Government has decided are not good for the people so they severely tax these things to punnish those who buy them. I believe you were the first guy on this board to bring up the point that a Government run healthcare "must" impose rationing, well if there is a decision to make about what to ration, why not the things they believe are based on these kinds of behaviors? You know, one thing I have wondered.....if the Government wanted to really help reduce medical costs, instead of selling health insurance, why not malpractice insurance? That is the single largest expense in the medical world and is driving up the cost of medical care more than any other single elelent. I bet we could get tort reform once the Government is paying out the claims, lol.

But do the people really care? I think not most of the time. If they can shove their heads in the sand on a subject most of the time they will. Well as usual your trying to make my post something it was not, I was just saying I don't really concern myself with things like that, to me the people I am with and spending time with is what is important to me. I rarely even watch television if it is not a college football game. It depends who you talk to RO. Two of his relatives have said he has been muslim all his life and even in the story linked in the other thread said something about the same. I don't know if he was convert or not, this is not clear based on the information offered so far. But he is muslim now, and he has had confrontations and now his internet postings show he thought suicide bombings were the same as a soldier protecting his fellow soldiers by jumping on a grenade. This cat was motivated by fanatical muslim beliefs. And there were signes of a problem that were ignored and I believe it was ignored only because he was muslim and they do not want to "look" like they are critical of Muslims.

No sane person would travel that far to chase their anger just to spout insults like a child RO. The threat was there, play games if you like but even that is more evidence of how you refuse to take responsibility for your actions.
