  1. messed up, fixing
  2. Well I do not really pay attention to the management issues at most teams so I don't know much about those issues but even the best coaches have issues with trying to get players to live up to their potential. I see QB after QB that seems to be right there, about to cross over to greatness but many never make that last step. Why? I don't know, each one has his own needs and why some can take that next step while others can't will always be a mystery to me. Florida is winning games more because of Tebow crossing that line to greatness than any other thing. Without Tebow I doubt we would be in the BCS running at this point. Passion really can win games, and it is that lack of passion I am talking about with Georgia, they have the tools, one look at their players tells you that this "should" be a great team, so where is the passion?
  3. So you can claim anything you want without having to prove it but you want me to prove myself right with 100% irrefutable evidence? Are you sure your not a Liberal eddo? Your certainly acting like one. The lack of results is a fact right eddo? The French Government had no success after so many long years is something you can't just ignore eddo. The fact that the French Government did not even do a proper investigation until the father screamed and ranted about it is also a fact eddo. So while my opinion of what this means might be based on slim evidence, at least there is "some" evidence supporting my point while your empty claim that the French Government was still trying very hard to procure this killer doctor from Germany does not have even one shread of proof to back it up. I will take slim evidence over no evidence any day, lol. If you would have done the same thing then why is it wrong eddo? Just because of political games? Do you believe that "right" comes from the Government? The only reason this father had to act was because his Government refused to act. I already pointed out many examples of how the French Government could have used political means to force Germany to observe their international and even EU laws they have agreed to. There was more that could have been done that was not done....so the father had to act, it was a moral imperitive. The father did not exact revenge on the doctor himself, he gave the doctor over to his Government instead so in my mind, that proves there was no wrong in this man's actions.
  4. I really do not think there is any way to stop this mess, if not this form then another will rise up and take over because it is about guilt. They are using false guilt to make us slaves to their agenda. This is like everything else the super Liberals do, they have what they want and anything that does not support their cause is ignored. Man made global warming has been proven to be without basis in fact and we are actually in a cooling phase right now but the global warming crowd saw the potential of great power to be had in embracing this false science and they are not likely to turn away from this power this close to actually getting it.
  5. I don't pay attention to spreads, if computers and statistics were all there was to the game of football there would be no need to play the damn games. Miami was supposed to be crushed by Florida State in their first game and instead Miami put them down, several games this season have been huge upsets as well. No matter what kind of team Florida and Georgia have each year, the game is always spirited. To be honest I see Georgia as having as lot of potential but there just seems to be something missing, some spark they are waiting for to happen and explode on someone, maybe Florida will bring them out of their shell, it could be a great game.
  6. Your just a racist, admit it, lol. The problem with being Liberal is it reqires a person to detach from reality to even start to believe that you can make life "fair". The notion requires mental illness or something. Look to Bender for a great example, a guy who I have said over and over again seems to be very smart, self motivated, and is responsible in his own life. Everything he has and has accomplished is by his own hard work.........but he also believes in free handouts and social engineering to make life "fair". Go figure, but we also saw him completely ignore every hard fact ever shown him and one of his last points before leaving was to parrot the claim that anyone who finds fault in Obama's actions are motivated by racist beliefs. I have never found a single Liberal who could truly justify their actions, that is why they have to resort to name calling and ignoring the facts. The video of Milton Friedman on Donahue we have seen here is the classis view of how a pure liberal is speachless against the hard fact of how much better capitalist ideas have provided for the masses than their Robin Hood ideas.
  7. Frozen into inaction is also a rush to decision, he has done nothing while American's are in danger. I would have more respect for him if he just withdrew all American troops and gave up because we know that is what he wants to do but he is scared of the political fallout. Once we put troops in harms way, the selfish political manuvering should stop. Obama's only concern is how this helps/hurts his political ambitions, and that is sad.
  8. I have seen this before myself. Somehow the 'other woman' gets blamed, like us men are just brainless zombies who have no control over our bodies when it comes to chasing other women. It is not your fault, don't let peer pressure push you into putting yourself in danger. Do not agree to be alone with this man. There is the possibility that this is what he wants too, someone else to drop the bomb on his wife for him so he can just ride the wave after it starts. Many people who want out of a relation are just too damn scared to do it directly so they come up with complex ways of forcing the end even if it is more messy than facing it like an adult. Maybe he picked you becauase of your strength, your ability to do what you feel is right and help him get out of his relationship? Who knows for sure but it does not sound like your going to end up very happy no matter what happens next. Anyway, we need an update, has he backed off or are you still dealing with it? I wish you luck.
  9. An absense of information is also something we can learn from eddo. You come home to a broken window, a big knife missing from the knife block, and the house is silent, do you pretend everything is fine? Do you assume there is no intruder just because you can't see him "yet"? The French's lack of results after so many years is a fact eddo, you can choose to believe that such a very long time without result is good, but I will choose to see that fact as significant. Your just taking shots, as usual. Your claim is that the French was still working hard to gain extradition eddo, show me where they were and I will admit I was wrong. Of course I am making a judgement call, just like the father made the judgement call that had him taking action where the French Government would not. Are you saying the father was wrong? There are litterally thousands of things the French Government could do, for example, the doctor was in France in connection with his work through the consulate, the first thing I would tell Germany is if they are going to refuse to respect French laws while in France, then maybe it is necessary to not allow German people into France? Maybe? Respecting international law also includes trade agreements and if Germany has decided to ignore international laws by shrugging off this case then this same thing can apply to any claims they may have in France. Remember, Germany has said that it is okay for their citizens to kill French citizens and they will not be extradited (with their actions), this is a huge issue and if France ignores this in this case, why would Germany ever respect French laws?
  10. Sex sells, no surprise there. I can't say I am happy at how it is more open these days but I guess each generation is always trying to shock the older generation.
  11. Care to make a wager?
  12. Good to see some of the comments and movies offered, some great ones to be sure. Indiana Jones and Dirty Harry would both be very cool to be, very strong characters. My favorite x-man was the Iceman. John Wayne, too many great movies to mention, but the gritty personality was always there. Good stuff.
  13. White House Loses Bid to Exclude Fox News From Pay Czar Interview - Political News - FOXNews.com The Obama administration on Thursday failed in its attempt to manipulate other news networks into isolating and excluding Fox News, as Republicans on Capitol Hill stepped up their criticism of the hardball tactics employed by the White House. The Obama administration on Thursday tried to make "pay czar" Kenneth Feinberg available for interviews to every member of the White House pool except Fox News. The pool is the five-network rotation that for decades has shared the costs and duties of daily coverage of the presidency. But the Washington bureau chiefs of the five TV networks consulted and decided that none of their reporters would interview Feinberg unless Fox News was included. The administration relented, making Feinberg available for all five pool members and Bloomberg TV. The pushback came after White House senior adviser David Axelrod told ABC News' "This Week" on Sunday that Fox News is not a real news organization and other news networks "ought not to treat them that way." Media analysts cheered the decision to boycott the Feinberg interview unless Fox News was included, saying the administration's gambit was taking its feud with Fox News too far. President Obama has already declined to go on "Fox News Sunday," even while appearing on the other Sunday shows. "I'm really cheered by the other members saying "No, if Fox can't be part of it, we won't be part of it,'" said Baltimore Sun TV critic David Zurawik, calling the move to limit Feinberg's availability "outrageous." "What it's really about to me is the Executive Branch of the government trying to tell the press how it should behave. I mean, this democracy -- we know this -- only works with a free and unfettered press to provide information," he said. Fox News legal analyst Peter Johnson Jr. said the administration was potentially in violation of the Constitution with its attempt to restrict access to the "eyes and ears" of the country. "What was averted was a very serious constitutional violation by the White House," Johnson said. "There cannot be selective and arbitrary access to the White House based on some subjective determination."
  14. Telling you to go read is not calling you names eddo, I can't help it your too lazy to go look for more information on your own, if your only exposure to the world is what me or someone else posts a link to you will never know very much. The doctor worked out of several different German embassies around the world including France so it seems to me that this political element was the main reason everyone was just blowing it off, remember the father had to fight just to get someone to properly test the body for the injection the doctor gave her. Lastly the conviction and international warrant was done in 1995, I believe enough time has passed to allow for reasonable extradition discussion to happen if it ever was going to happen. If you have some proof that the French Government was still in active negotioations for extradition I would be happy to see that.
  15. Exactly, this guy was still trying to let the proper people handle the situation, he only acted where his own Government refused to act. eddo, if your going to make personal attacks I am not going to respond to you, grow up.
  16. Wow, first of all it would be so easy for you to make this explode into a mess, so many people in your situation would, at least your trying to think about the entire picture, good for you. This guy was dead wrong and he may have acted stronger because he was drunk at the bar but his texting you and such while sobor says he is really looking for the door with his relationship, as he says he needs a good excuse. Even if you went there the possibility of him sticking around with you would be very low. I hope he has learned his lesson but if he does not back off your going to have to deal with it somehow. If he is as well respected in the community as you say then one possible way of trying to snap him out of it would be to go to his pastor, explain what is happening and let him talk to the guy. Maybe some other respected person? If the guy knows what he is doing is known by those he respects, then that could make him see that he is doing the wrong thing. Usually "respected" people do not want to lose respect from those who they in turn show respect to. I am concerned by his "forcing" his will on you, the "pressed himself" move combined with making you stay there to listen to him is a bad sign. This could mean he is capable of more if he feels rejected. Please be careful and try not to be alone until this can get resolved.
  17. Good idea em, top ten instead of one, I was actually fighting with what my favorite would be. No fair you stole Doc Holiday in Tombstone, I loved that movie and I believe that was the best work I have ever seen from Val Kilmer. 1. John Keating - dead poets society, now that is what a teacher should be. 2. Atticus Finch - To Kill a Mockingbird, doing right is never wrong. 3. James Bond - any of the sean connery movies, swave, brittish accent, kill people, nuff said. 4. James T. Kirk - original Star Trek series, fly around the universe sleeping with all the pretty aliens, just shows men never changes, lol. 5. Joseph Donnelly - far and away, starting over in a new land with nothing but your own grit to live or die, now that is an adventure. 6. John Milton - Devils Advocate, who wouldn't want to be the Devil? 7. Neo - The Matrix, just to get next to Trinnity, wow she is hot. 8. Dr. Buddy Rydell - Anger management, I feel pretty, oh so pretty......... 9. Catherine Petersen - Black Widow, the ultimate gold digger, if I am to try and be a woman, why not go all the way, lol. 10. Fred Krueger - Nightmare on elm street, if your going to be a out of control killer, at least have a sense of humor.
  18. You could try reading.........
  19. IWS inspired a thought in my mind, if you could pick one movie to be reality and you were living in that reality, what movie would you select and also what character would you like to be? I should say the Matrix and Neo just so I can be with Trinity, man she is hot in that movie, lol, but no that is not my choice, I will give you guys my own choice later, please try to be honest guys, This could be interesting.
  20. The Matrix is a movie Joe, just saying in case you didn't know. Besides, if you want to consider the move as a real possibility, then the computers still took the basic realities (before the big battle) to create their computer world (the Matrix). They had birds and rain and such recreated in the image of the real world so if we are currently in a Matrix world, us now seeing that there are germs most likley germs existed before we were in this Matrix too.
  21. My point exactly, nice dodge. You were being over critical because you were angry at me and wanted to take a shot, other people seem to be doing fine discussing the points I offer so I know you had the ability to understand but choose to pretend to not understand so you had an excuse to be nasty. No there is not when it comes to you and whoever you happen to hate at the moment. It is always the same routine with you, once you hate, you can never let yourself see good in that person, well not till they bow down to you that is. I didn't say you were controlling him, I said he jumps on every bandwagon, he is certainly doing that from his own hatred. Remember when he flamed my poem on the Jungle? Even you didn't flame my poem but he really tried to hurt my feelings with that. Then there is his lies about me being banned on dozzens of forums and claiming I was a member of child porn sites and such. Joe has been a constant source of hatred, more than even you show me. I did answer your question Ali. Do you think battered women's shelters are filled with women who like to play the victim Ali? Your either being unreasonable or your not and me pointing out your actions is not crying or playing a victim, it is what it is. I offered what Snaf said as a point that it is not just me who is saying this so if even Snaf says the same thing, how can you claim it does not exist? Can you answer to that question? Tell me something Ali, what does it really matter? Even this attempt to call me a crybaby is another example of how you are always trying to put me down on a personal level. Why do you need to put me down so badly Ali? What is it that is driving you to do these things? This is the real deal right there. In all that we see this little gem show the real Ali and how you really feel when your in attack mode....you are not really disputing you act this way, your saying your actions are justified. You believe I have earned your wrath and I should just be silent and take my punnishment, lol.
  22. Well give me an example, show where I put you down as a person or insulted you out of nowhere without you saying a word to me first. You keep saying I have done this, I keep asking for an example, but you can never offer that example.
  23. Someone has to hold the ultimate responsibility eddo. In this case it is the Government's responsibility to protect it's people and the french did not try to negotiate with Germany, they just accepted defeat without trying to take other steps. The lack of extra steps from the French Government is what bothers me in this. I don't know for sure but it does look like there was some sort of behind the back deal to not push this issue for some reason. The Polanski situation was completely different, the EU has extra steps to try and help these issues that America did not have. I find it interesting that France never tried to follow up on the refusal, that part stinks.
  24. I am not sure I follow you, are you speaking from the view of the husband, the wife, the temptation, or the raw reality outside of perceptions of humans? 1. The husbands point of view could be he still sees himself as a loving husband who made a mistake or even saw nothing wrong with feeding his animal passions, some believe sex and love are not related. 2. If the wife was unknowing of the incident then her perceptions of the husband have not changed with new data to base it on, if she found out she might even retreat into denial or even wave it off as nothing, again some don't apply a connection to sexual relationships and love. Then again she could feel horribly betrayed and embarassed, that is a complex one there. 3. The temptation again may see it as a healthy expression of sexuality and no big deal. She might be trying to "steal" the man away too, I seem to remember a woman writing a book to other women on how to steal another woman's man away from her. If this is the case she might see the man as her "potential" loving husband but this is one I will never understand, what makes these people think the person will be more loyal to them than their current mate????? 4. In reality is there a such thing as a loving husband? Does love really exist or is it just a figment of our imagination? Does their viewpoints change this reality? If some believe sex with other people is okay, then was that perception sort of a wild card on the basic rule or can there ever be a basic rule where feelings and relationships are concerned?
  25. Apply political pressue to enforce the european agreement to honor these kinds of legal issues. Germany just waved them off and being as nobody followed up I am thinking that was the agreement from the start. From the looks of things France wanted to take no for an answer and was either looking for an excuse to drop it or was even in agreement with Germany as to how they wanted the public appearance to be.
