well i dont know about the hooking up part, but there will definantly be some more romance and what not but im not saying with who :D dont you guys just love me? you'll have to wait and see.

(after the field trip latter that night)

"So have you and Brad finally hooked up?"

Mike asked as they were sitting in a resturant with the rest of the class. Kenji gave him a weird look.

"No. *** mike you and chester both are gonna drive me up the wall with this arent you?"

Kenji swore. Mike couldnt help but laugh. The two were so obvious and so shy about it it was hilarious.

"Stop laughing Mike."

"Why not you and brad are just so funny. I know that you like him and he likes you so why dont you ask him out?"

Kenji gave an exasperated sigh. this was just so stupid.

"Look mike, all I can say is that I was always taught that the men are suposed to be the hunters of the human species and if they dont have anything to hunt they loose intrest......"

"So in other words you want him to be the one to ask you out right?"

Mike said.

"yes finally you get it."

Kenji said throwing her hands up in the air. Brad and Rob came over to see what was up with the two friends.

"Hey kenji, hey mike!"

Rob said as Brad almost instantly took the seat by kenji.

"hi kenji."

Brad said kind of quietly so that his voice was barely above a whisper.

"Hi Brad."

She said, her voice almost like his, barely audiable. Rob sat down with mike. The silence made the other two boys twitch with anticipation. Rob and Mike looked at each other and grinned.

"What the **** is so funny?"

Brad asked as the guys tried to hide their laughter.

"The two of you!"

Mike gasped as he stuffed his hat in his mouth to keep from busting out laughing.

"Brad why don't you just ask her out already?"

rob said as he wiped away a tear from his eye.

"guys just let me do it in my own time please."

Brad pleaded.

Yeah i guess...but not right away though. That woould kinda rush the story a little.

yeah ur right but it would be cool if they do!!!! where is my green tea!!!! *looks around for green tea* there it is! :D *laughs and takes a swig*

i will be updating when i can i have alot on my plate with helping my grandmother out with her shattered shoulder and trying to finish up projects that are due before school starts and keeping my sisters out of my hair

thats fine hun, take ur time, the story is good, but not good enough that you should forget about ur grandma, and sisters :thumbsup:

ok here is the long awaited next part its set after the field trip. dave is still being an ***

"So we are finally out for christmas, what should we do? we have like hours to kill."

Brad said as he played with the string on his hoodie. Kenji turned the hat around backwards so she could see better. Mike shrugged his arms as he kicked at a rock on the sidewalk.

"Wanna go see a movie or something?"

Chester suggested.

"Maybe, what kind of movies are playing?"

They stopped by a poster that had the movies on it. Joe and Rob made faces as they saw a bunch of Jocks and cheerleaders head over towards them.

"How about Alien vs Predetor?"

Mike suggested.

"Sure why not?

Everyone said in a unenthuastic way. They all paid for their tickets and concessions. Mike went into the third row. Kenji sat in between Brad and chester. She then groaned as Dave, lindsey, and monica and the rest of the jocks and cheerleaders sat in the row in front of them. the lights began to go down. Kenji tapped chester on his shoulder he turned to look at her.

"Chaz will you trade seats with me? I can't see over Dave's fat head."

Chester laughed as he stood up and traded with Kenji. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks chester."

"No problem Kenj..."

Brad was starring dead ahead at one of the previews. Kenji looked over at him to see Brad. She couldnt help but laugh as Brad put his arm around chester, thinking that chester was her.

"dude, brad, I am so not like that."

chester said as he punched at brad. Brad gave a squak. as he jumped up he sent his popcorn flying onto dave's head.

"uh-oh"

Chester said as Dave stood up and turned around.

before I write the next part, I wanted you guys to know that even though the LP guys are 18 yrs old (17 in robs case) the things that are going on in the world today is going on in this story world. ok the next part

"Let's go guys."

Kenji said as she pulled on chester and brad's hands as dave clinched and unclinched her fists. All six of them stood up and left the movie theater.

"Hey guys let's go to my place. I need your help with some things."

Kenji said suddenly. The other guys nodded as they walked to one of the apartment

complexes.

"Did you finally get your own place?"

Joe asked excitedly.

"Yeah and I need you guys to help me put some stuff in boxes."

"ok we would be glad to help."

Brad said as Kenji opened the door to her apartment. The guys gasped. there was almost nothing here. the only furnature was a table and a mattress on the floor and a TV ontop of a cardbord box. Boxes were piled up along the walls.

"I'll be right back guys."

said kenji as she slipped down a hall way. Something caught chester's eye. He sat down to look at it closer. He frowned as he scanned it. suddenly he felt so angry. He quickly pushed the letter under a pile of papers so the other guys wouldnt see it. But it was extreamly stupid, why would she get a letter like that when she wasn't even eighteen yet.

"Guys, I'm going to go get some fresh air."

Chester said as he stormed out of the house. Brad gave chester a strange look.

"What's with him?"

Brad asked. The others shrugged. Kenji came back in the room.

"Hey where's chester?"

"Went out side for a minute."

Joe said as he sat down on the floor with mike and Brad. Rob was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.

"Well guys there is something I really have to tell you."

She said as she sat down with them.

"Once school lets out, I have to leave here. I wanted to ask one of you if you could keep an eye on this place for me while I'm gone."

She said.

"We all can do it. how long will you be gone?"

Kenji fiddeled with a hole in her sweatshirt.

"Close to a year."

"ok as long as you promise to write from where ever the **** you are,"

Rob said with a smile. She nodded. She then stood up again.

"I'm going to go find chester, Joe try not to mess up my house."

Joe gave a look of fake hurt. Kenji opened up the front door to look for chester. He stood there with his arms over the railing looking out at the lake that was part of the complex grounds.

"Hey chester."

chester gave a shrugg of his shoulders to show he was listening.

"youre leaving after school lets out arnt you."

He said making this a statement more then a question.

"Yeah...."

"And your going off to fight in the war arn't you."

Chester said bluntly. Keni came to stand beside him at the railing.

"I have my reasons for it."

Chester turned his face towards her. Tears streamed down from his amber eyes.

"But you arent even eighteen."

"I will be later on this month on the 31st."

She said as she looked down. Kenji just couldn't see Chester cry. It tore her apart.

"All of my oldest brothers have been fighting in that **** war."

He said his voice cracking.

"Two have even died for it. You can't understand how it hurts to have someone you really love to die."

Chester said as he turned his head.

"I know exactly what it feels like. I am willing to take that risk."

She said as she spared a momentary glance at him.

"Your willing to die for someone you hate. I know you hate Bush. So why are you willing to die for something that is his ideals?"

"Because I am only doing what my mom would want me to do."

"This is just so **** stupid!! I don't want you to go! I love you too much to let you do it."

Chester's mouth dropped open and his eyes went wide at what he said. Chester put his hand to his face. He couldnt believe that he just said that.

"Chester....."

"I don't want to loose another person to this damned war."

He said as he turned away from her.

"Chester are you serious?"

Kenji asked. Chester nodded his head as he wiped his eyes with the hem of his shirt.

"I just can't really help how I feel. But I know for a fact that I don't want you to go."

Kenji put her arms around him in a hug.

"You might not know this but I have three older brothers. They all are in the military."

She told him as they sat down on the railing of the balcony area.

"I have always wanted to be just like them. They were the biggest thing that influenced me."

She told him.

"I know you want to do this but please.... I don't want you to go and l-I-I "

Chester sighed and gave up.

"You know you two would make an awesome couple if it wasnt for sam."

Mike said as he lept ontop of chester messing up his blond hair.

"Mannnn dont remind me. She is being such a **** leach."

Chester groaned.

"Maybe we all should just drop our girls and find some new ones."

Brad suggested with a forced smile on his face.

"Well we think its cool that your going to Iraq. Should've just told us strait up. we're cool with it."

Joe said as he jumped on kenji's back. Then Rob and Brad jumped ontop of the two and brougt everyone down in a dog pile.

"But you have to write us and email."

"yeah yeah I promise. get your fat *** off of me joe!"

Kenji laughed as Joe sat on her back.

"are you saying I'm fat?"

He asked as he put his hands on his hips.

"Yeah now gerroff!"

Chester said as he managed to pull himself out of the pile and drag Joe off of Kenji. Kenji couldnt help but start laughing even though she had 150 lbs of joe on her stomache.

"You holigans need to go somewhere else with that racket!!"

An elderly lady shouted, shaking her cane at them. The guys started laughing as they went back inside.
