Wearing: Hoodie, jeans, my SIDS cap (backwards of course! Bourdie-style, as part of CoB creed! *laughs*)
Wow... where to start? I guess I've been up to a few new things lately, not terribly thrilling by everyone's standards but hey *shrugs* it's better than being dead, right? *s******s*
Have been listening to A LOT of Nine Inch Nails lately, NIN With Teeth and The Downward Spiral albums, and along with Linkin Park's concert @ Rock am Ring 2004, that pretty much constitutes my musical tastes as of late. I used to be a hardcore NIN fan a few years back in high school (a few?!?) and I had a 'thing' *s******s* for lead man Trent Reznor. That guy just reeks of somekind of charm or allure of mystical quality that you can't deny... still does after all these years. Saw him in concer at the Big Day out in 2001 I think it was, I've told you about that I think, most incredible experience of my life! *gasp!* Anyway, enough reminiscing...
Downloaded My Chemical Romance's 'I'm not Okay (I promise)' the other day and that's become a bit of a themesong here at this place (JammerG and my place that is), it's the kind of song that gets stuck in your head, like it or not. Oh, and Finch's 'Bitemark's and Bloodstains'... totally rocks. Very recomended. Do yourself a favour and go listen to them. Cool.
Still waiting for my stuff to arrive from eBay... *groan* I'm so impatient it's pathetic! I like things done yesterday, and waiting on other people is just mind-numbingly (?!?) painful, so this is killing me... reminds me of the 12 odd weeks it took for my LPU4 pack to finally arrive *sigh* Oh well.
Been drawing still, have been working on images for this Depression Publication for Indigenous Australians here in sunny old Queensland for the Dept of Mental Health and that's going okay. Ties in well with my therapy (to get me back on track for Uni) so that's all good! Haven't been writing my fic much, can't get into it at the moment, it's drawing to a close and essentially my character's involvement is over, so I'm losing touch without the main protagonist with which to now relate to, so *sigh* y'know, I'll get there eventually. Nearly 400 pages. Nearly.
Had an interesting 'chat' over at the Rob's pics thread with Pheonix *laughs* and Rusu and Shah. As well as all belonging to this insane Rob-worshipping 'cult' otherwise known to those uneducated few as the CoB or Church of Bourdon we've also adopted a new collective 'name' with which to identify ourselves; Bourdon-boppers, a derrivative from Teeny-boppers/Linkin-boppers to our unifying attraction to one sexy drummer *chuckles* How he'd be rolling his eyes if he read half the **** we dribble on about over there (and uh... in here) *looks about guiltily* Well, I guess it makes sense in a way. I AM Rob-Obsessed, ask anyone... Who better to be a B-Bopper? *s******s and rolls eyes* (So what if I have too much free time on my hands?!?)
*Ahem* Anyway, moving on...
I guess I should post something. I usually do at this point. As this is a Sanctuary for Rob-related **** as well as my own mental **** (guess what I have more of!) I should do two things, post a pic of Rob and a pic of the stuff I've been doing for my art therapy/booklet... let's see... Actually, the stuff I'm drawing now is commissioned, so by law I'm not sure I'm allowed to post it, so to play it safe I won't for now. What I will post is a pic I've been meaning to for a while now, it's a portrait of Mike I drew last year, the last half-decent thing I've drawn anyway... so, here's the pic;

I'm still trying to get my bearings again, so when (and if) I manage to pull off a half decent variation of Rob, I'll post that too. The one I have is just bad... it's chicken fricasse bad! *laughs*

Uh, okay, now I've effectively embarrassed myself (don't I usually?) and said all I'm going to right now, I'll leave and run back over to my other place of residence (Rob Pics Thread, of course!) and prowl those halls... wish me luck! (Band practice should be held over there I think, more... uh, 'inspiration' *s******s*) O___o
