Being serious about what, exactly? Just curious is all... If you're looking for deep and meaningful/intellectual conversations, this is the wrong thread to be in. We mostly spend our time daydreaming and typing the word 'drool' a lot... and have the occasional laugh XD That's it.

If it pertains to the chocolate calendar thing; then it's kinda bizarre. I have a 23 year old 'niece' who has a Hi-5 one... that's bizarre... *rolls eyes* But if they had an LP one/Rob one, then of course I'd buy one, or two, or twenty, get fat on the chocolate and use the pickies as wallpaper or something... seems reasonable, for me at least! Black_Angel, I'll admit I was in the same boat to begin with. I was actually not into hip-hop, still kind of aren't, but after listening to a few tracks I was hooked - the songs to me at least are so catchy. Having said that, if I had no idea who Mike Shinoda even was and saw this album on the shelf I probably would have missed it. But having heard it I can honestly say I like it. All but like 2 or 3 songs, but that's natural. Even as big a fan as I am of Linkin Park, there's still a handful of songs I skip on my stereo that I just never got into. Same as any band I suppose. Fickle fan that I am. If you aren't wanting to get swept up in the current hype then yeah, wait. At least the price will go down eventually too, so there's an added bonus for ya! *s******s* I'm such a scrooge!

I had a 9 and a half hour shift yesterday so that was crazy. Christmas parties at a mexican restaurant - who'da thunk? (Think Hercules - injoke) Was there from 11:00am - 10:30pm and that was a massive day... hopefully I don't get that kinda shift too often, but from a financial persepctive, hopefully I do! *scrooging again* Aah, at least it's not a day job, it's the equivalent of a day job, but it means I get to play online and do housework and watch Dr Phil during the day then work at night - as for sleep; what's that? *laughs* Well... that's all I have to say about that one really.

One month til xxxmas. Man I hate this time of year. I can't get home for xxxmas to be with my folks and brother and 3 yr old nephew and that sucks. Xxxmas is so much more entertaining when there's kids involved but unfortunately I won't see that, I've gotta work. *sob* Hope those bastards that come in for their xxxmas lunches and dinners appreciate the fact but I bet they don't. Anyway, gonna trudge back over to MTS2 (where I spend the rest of my net time other than this place) and run amok there. Actually; correction - go on another downloading frenzy!

Yes, at least here in Oz there's a thing the stores dreamed up called 'Christmas in July' so people who have too much money and nothing better to do can cash in and have a second Christmas while the rest of us are busily scrimping and saving for the first one in December, lucky son's of goats... Actually, don't know who invented it, but it does exist. Dumb, huh? We Aussies are a crazy lot. You should see us riding in Kangaroo pouches on the way to work of a morning - traffic jams are a sight to see I tell ya *rolls eyes* I'm kidding of course but I guess some silly sod would have just sat up with their eyes bulging out of their skull in surprise and went "Really? Anyway, as for my fav Rob quote? It changes from day to day. It used to simply be 'It bumps' from the end of the bus segment on Frat Party, but two of his most memorable would be 'Basically I just like to bang the **** out of the drums' from a 2002 interview I read and have on file somewhere (I think) and the other would be something along the lines of him not thinking of himself as a GQ guy or something like that, or in otherwords, a model. Liar. He's a babe and he knows it. Well I know it. We know it. I just want to see him play the drums live once and I'll die a happy lady - I'd be even happier if he did it with his shirt off and I was standing like 2 metres away from the drumkit, that would be a sight to behold! *MAJOR DROOOOOOOOOOOLAGE* Hhehehehe, omg, did it just get really hot in this room or something? *laughs again*

Anyway, yeah, so, that's just a thought. I remember my fav Chas and Mike quotes, the one about sprouting wings out of their butts and flying around the world with each other; that's pure classic LP. And the one with Pheonix and Brad on the set of SIB vid (I think) about the camera needing a sarcasm filter with Brad around, makes me laugh still. There's so many... they're a crazy bunch of guys, but lovable. Not stuck up rockstar wannabes. *lol* Glad to see you back Phi - place just aint the same withoutcha! Glad y'all had fun on your vacation, I'm still spittin' with jealousy, **** I so badly wish I could have been there. There's no beaches here, there's no rivers, no lakes. We have catchment lakes around (about an hour or so away) but we're up on a mountain range so water of most kinds (unless it falls from the sky) is pretty much out of the question. Bet you're tanned and sunkissed now, though, aint'cha? Don't forget lots of Aloe Vera gel, will get rid of that sting. In the 'Sunburnt Country' (which in itself always amuses me, 'cause I'd have thought Africa was hotter) it's an institution, trust me.

Yeah, I was stoked when I got mine, I went all giddy like a doe-eyed schoolgirl but when I calmed down I put it in my LP folder along with the others. I actually have a scan of Rob answering Q's from LPU2 I think it is if you want to see that? Gimmie sec, I'll upload it. But I have to say his handwriting shocked me, after looking at the fluidity of his autograph and the fact he's smart (acc. degree) or looks it (with his glasses - sweet mental droolage) and I just kind of assumed it I suppose, I thought it would make sense. *Laughs* His handwriting (sorry Rob) is attrocious (sp? *laughs* Can't even critisize properly can I? So much for my own credability) It looks just like a doctor's handwriting... or my dad's (which is worse) but judge for yourself;

Man, I'm listening to D12 again and laughing myself silly. After the serious verses of FM I'm feeling a little, I dunno, relaxed now. But FM has it's place. It's all good. I'm slowly gravitating towards more hip-hop which I never used to be a fan of all that long ago. All kinds of music is okay by me, but there's just one or two I can't tolerate - elevator music severely cheeses me off. *raises brow* And electronic 'on hold' muisc you get on the phone on some government departments, that sucks too, but... yeah... diversity is all good.

It's really stressfull because the cast keep on changing what they want and only inform us at the last minute U___U But I'll pull though. The Matinee went really well there was only one slip up on the crews behalf, and even then it wasn't my fault ^^

hehehe...anyway...next two days we have year 10 activities and then on friday we have a farewell assembly and the formal^^ man I'm not even sure if I've got everything sorted for the formal >< I have to check, can't leave it to the last moment....

Glad things are going well for ya at school. Lighting director? Mad job. One of my old friends many years ago was studying Stage Production at Uni and she took me back stage once or twice to show me the equipment and the filters and effects and props and stuff, none of which I can really recall with much clarity now, but at the time I was blown away cause I honestly had never appreciated the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes of productions and performances - kinda like a concert I guess. I had been in a few stage productions at school myself but never worked much behind the scenes, so I was educated as it were. You guys BTS do amazing work - kudos to y'all!

Hope that goes swimmingly, but of course with you at the helm it will. Have full and utter faith in you. You're a smart cookie and you'll do great whatever you try your hand at! *nods knowingly* What's the production about anyway? Cats? Westside story? Rugrats go to Paris? *grins* Just curious, is all. Is it an original peice?? What's the theme?? Details, details...

Hope the formal goes well too. Oh and the assembly. Man, end of year 10. Brings back memories for this lil old duck, lemmie tell you... I would lie and say it feels like only yesterday but in truth it feels like a whole lifetime ago (that translated into actual years works out to be somewhere in the vacinity of 13, give or take *ahem*) but enjoy it while you can... I have a few more but couldn't be bothered uploading them from saved discs - these are only ones I have sitting on my comp right now, and in no way includes the 30+ cd's I've burnt over the years of LP pix, stories, interviews, audio, vids and other miscellaneous LP stuff along the way. My poor comp can't handle all the Gigs at once; hence the off system storage. Anyhoo, avatars are ****-easy, and if y'still want something Phi lemmie know. I'll be changing mine as frequently as my underpants for the next few days (must be a planetary influence thing) til I find another pic I wanna stare at exclusively for a while.

This is Rob - the guy doesn't have a bad side. But having said that I don't see him when he first crawls out of bed of a morning (***, I wish!) or when he's sick with the flu or heaven forbid leaving rotten deposits on the back of the tour bus that goes against all laws of nature (and rules of tour bus/toilet ettiqute if I recall Frat Party correctly) but as far as I know in my somewhat limitted and narrowminded knowledge as a Bourdon-bopping groupie, is that the guy is as close to genetically perfect as the human race is likely to see for a while. Til he procreates. And if he never does he needs to be cloned. Said it before and I'll say it again - if you're looking to start the perfect race; start with Rob. Who would be his equal female counterpart?

Hmmm... I have 2 contenders; Angelina Jolie and Charlise Theron. Now that would make for the perfect offspring! OMFG I'm a genious. *s******s at self* Bet even Rob wold agree with my choice of life partner for him, huh? Even though it's Mike with the Angelina fetish, Chas loves Madonna, and Rob I think actually likes Beyonce, but ****, I stand by my convictions! And then, if neither of them are available, I'll stick my hand up. *laughs* ****, who wouldn't want to populate the planet with him as the Alpha Male??? Just give him a set of drums, a Playstation, a surfboard, tv set, a big comfy bed and his beloved black matix cap and the guy's in heaven anyway... Oh and water, can't go with out that... hehehe...
