The question is, what do we do? This is caused by a society that is losing it's morals. How do we give our youth the moral structure to resist temptations and accept responsibility for their actions when we have Presidents and Goveners involved in sex scandles? Like it or not, agree with it or not, this Country did not have these kinds of problems when we had strong religious based morals. As we are killing God, we are also destroying society as we know it, there is nothing to hold us together or provide stability to help fight off temptations. While religion does not have to be the answer, we do need something strong to replace this lost moral fiber or we will never improve these problems.

But the real question is do you truly believe he is "neutral" as he claims? A man with his history of only responding to issues to help blacks gain power is not wanting a black man to be elected as the President of the United States? Please. I agree with what he is asking for but I am pretty sure of his motives. I agree with him because if Obama had known that the DNC would have reversed their decision, he could have made some effert to campaign in these two states. He did not bother with it because he thought their deligates would not be allowed to sit. The only reason they are thinking about changing the rules is because the Clinton's are above the rules in their opinion and Hillary needs as much support as they can give her.

The labels become useful to follow trends of one group or another. A person who kills only once a year and follows a pattern is still a serial killer even if he is not killing someone every day. We are all complex beings and we move one way or another from time to time but there are a few basic consepts that do define us certain ways. A belief that welfare is good for society or that playing Robin Hood to take from the rich and give to the poor, the federal government should control the states, killing unborn children is okay, these are basic Liberal truths today. Giving more power to the States, less welfare, life is valuable inside and outside the womb, lower taxes, secure the borders, and have a strong military are a few examples of basic truths of Conservatives today.

But this is the new society we are creating. This goes to a lack of morals, everything goes back to a lack of morals. Morals are the tempering factor that makes society possible and these new flexible morals the non-religious cling to are making this kind of behavoir not only possible but make it a reality. Back when I was a kid nobody locked their doors and women were "ladies". Most people went to church and had prayer when they sat down for a meal with their family (that included a father at the table). Each day of school was started with prayer, everywhere you looked there was an example of good moral standing supported by a belief in God as the foundation of those morals. That does not mean everyone was good, just that the standard of behavoir was well defined if someone was to be accepted in society. Now we have a society where being religious has the non-religious attacking us and even calling us liers when we speak of how we feel but at the same time, we have out of control lack of taking responsibility for anything we do. It seems like the two are directly connected, I am sure the non-religious will try to deflect attention away from this connection but there is a clear and well defined cause and effect relationship with removing God from society and the moral decline that follows.

Now, is the law the fault or the guy executing his version of the law? Don't blame God for what man does, man is filled with mistakes and even though he may be good intending in his attempts to worship God, his methods may or may not be what God intends for him to do. We need to forget preconceived ideas and start listening to the little voice we all hear but refuse to admit exists in some cases. When you take something that does not belong to you, you feel that what your doing is wrong without anyone telling you. Fundamental truths, an example of the reality of God. Great article. The only thing It did not directly talk about was how forclosures also depress home sales. By the time the note holder gets the home available for resale, they are very motivated to unload that home well below what they have into it. This puts a relatively new home on the market at a very low price compared to most spec homes where the builder has to make a profit over cost. As long as there are a lot of forclosures happening, the new homes will be very difficult to move even in a strong economy. Forced negotiation on the trems may be an option but I agree with the writer and believe the best thing to do is let what is failing to finish failing to bring everything back into reality.

Well it is official, Hillary won both Ohio and Texas. There were rumors that Hillary would be pressured to back down if she did not win both of these states so those of us not wanting either one of them to be the next president should be very happy. As long as they are fighting each other, they are not getting ready to face Mccain and better then that, as their supportes get more and more glued to their canidate, it is very possible that if their choice gets taken down, they may decide to not vote for the other person out of anger or dissapointment. We can only hope they stay fighting right up to the convention and even still bickering after the convention.

Drug abusing people are not islands, they harm way more then just themselves and their families.
