The funny part is while she accused you word use as "crude", she gave +rep to Chi for using much worse language against me. Anyway, your right, all kids look for heros and hard working parents are busy.......well working for a living and not around as much as we would like to be. Even when we are around we have a home to clean, bills to pay, food to cook, cloths to fold (that is the chore I hate the most), etc. When I was young baseball players and such were the heros, now kids are looking at rap artists and train wrecks like Paris Hilton as their heros and it is definately taking it's toll on society. Even the sports heros are busted for drugs or dog fighting, our kids don't really have the solid heros we had as kids. Parents can still try to offer a good example through example but a hard working mom and dad grinding out an honest existence hardly looks comparable to the kind of life these rappers and such live so the kids are seeing that.

Fist of all I have no idea where your getting the "privledge" thing from. This seems to be a common theme with Liberals to insert things into other people's comments so they can act outraged. I guess we need to discuss this like we are talking to a three year old so the Liberals can understand it. We were comparing experience and how that related to an executive job like the Presidency. Comparing Palin to Obama for their early careers, we have both involved in their local communities but only Palin was dealing with budgets, city employees, police/fire department needs, roads, all the little things that make a local city function. Obama did some community work and some State level work but his voting record proves he accomplished close to nothing and never during any of that time did he ever run anything more complicated than a couple office staff. So, early careers, Palin has lots of executive experience, Obama has none. Now, more recently Palin is running an entire State budget, employees, etc. She is fighting big oil and other "pet projects" that directly puts her in opposition with her own party members. She is the very definition of an executive as it is meant to be. Obama's recent record is as a brand new federal politician who has spent most of his time running for office, not doing his job. Obama claims his experience running his campaign is executive experience but when we look closer we see he has several campaign managers running the executive side of things. On top of that Obama has run up one of the most Liberal straight down the line voting records and has earned a very poor rating from independant watchdog groups for very heavy earmark abuses. So again we see a pattern, recent careers show Palin with lots of executive experience in running an entire State, Obama has no executive experience. Nobody ever said being a Mayor was Palin's only experience, it was offered as 'part' of her experience but even if that was all she had, it would still be ten times more experience than Obama has. Obama has been a follower his entire life, now suddenly people want to believe a guy who has had problems even making tough votes at the State level can suddenly be an executive of the highest order? I keep going back to what Biden himself said: Just a few short months ago his own running mate was saying Obama is not ready to be President, what has changed? Would Microsoft put a complete novice in charge of their company? No. America is a million times more complex than Microsoft, why put a complete novice like Obama in charge of that? Don't make much sense does it.

How many times did he vote 'present' on those issues? I seems to remember over a hundred times, clearly his time there was not very well spent if he could never take sides on sensative issues. Clearly he was grooming himself for future offices and not doing his job at the State level as he should. Anyway, his responsibilities were nothing compared to a town Mayor as Palin was so if you think Obama sitting in a possition without really doing your job for a few years accounts for his experience to be President, then clearly Palin has ten times that level of experience just using her Mayor executive experience, when we add in her time as Govenor, she completely blows Obama away.

And this is why I am co critical of Liberals. They are so two faced when it comes to their party. If your one of them you deserve all these rights and people should support you but if your not one of them, your a step backward for all women if you get elected as the VP. Everybody knows Palin is more than qualified, so they try to tear her apart with these personal attacks and unfounded claims to muddy the waters and keep the people from seeing the truth of her qualifications.

Too many causes......... People are more interested in the trainwreck that is Paris Hilton than what the canidates for President support. You cannot have an uprising without a common belief structure. If people cannot agree with what is wrong, then they cannot gather together to fight that wrong. Most of America is made up of people who look to the government to solve their problems or to give them something. Hard to attack something that you need to exist.

I just have to comment on this. The 'father' does not completely change his character out of nowhere. If he is the type to be unsupportive or a deadbeat as a father then he is the same way before the woman has unprotected sex with him. Maybe if the woman was a little more selective about who she spread her legs for, (in an unprotected way) she might be able to avoid these kinds of situations before they happen and avoid the killing of an innocent baby. A real discussion I had with a woman I know: w=woman T=me W- Damn, my ex has dissapeared and is late on his support now I am getting late notices from some bills I can't pay. T- Just curious, before things went south between you two, did he have a great job? W- Not really, he worked construction and odd side jobs but never really settled down to make a career. T- Was he really honest or dishonest with people you knew? W- No, he was always screwing people over and I know he would sometimes take money to do jobs then never do the job, stuff like that. T- So he was always a real scumbag? W- Hell yes, he is scum and always has been! T- So why did you make a baby with him? W- Stunned What are you trying to say? T- All I am saying is you knew he was not the most reliable man in the word before getting pregnant with him so don't act surprised now when he continues acting the same way with this. W- But........

If she took it that way that is her issue, not mine, I was making a very clear point, she was making "assumptions" (again) about the women she mentioned as well. I made her admit these women she was talking about were not in her circle and she really could not say for sure if they were fooling around or not but her lack of factual information did not prevent her from calling these other women whores either. I have no idea why Chi took such a hostile stance against women who are good looking but from the very beginning I was only saying that it would be great for women with low self-esteem (like the girl selling her virginity) to see a strong successful woman make it to the VP office, that is all. Chi started saying pretty women could not possibly be successful on their own and things built from there. Concerning the bad language and hateful attacks Chi made, this is the internet, anyone who gets that out of control over things written on a forum is clearly admitting they are wrong but too insecure to admit it. By blowing up, they change the subject and can get away from the topic without taking responsibility for their comments.

An abortion is the action done to escape taking responsibility for the "choice" already made to have dangerious sexual contact by both parties. I get so irritated by people who claim women should have the ringht to choose, well she does have the right tho choose, choose not to have unprotected sex. If someone drinks and drives then kills someone, they can't just go to the doctor to have their mistake cut out of them, so why should women be allowed to murder a life just because their "choice" did not go the way they thought it would? The fastest growing segment of society is single, never wed mothers. The average abortion is to women who already have children and have never been married. It sounds to me like these women are making the same bad "choice" over and over to have risky sex with guys who are not very reliable.

Ya, Chi did the same thing the last couple days. When I pointed out her attacks were unfounded, she somehow felt I needed to be destroyed for daring to point it out. There is somethign wrong with a mindset that knows they are wrong, but needs to cover that wrong up with topic changing personal attacks so they don't have to admit it. No, I do not believe Obama was calling Palin a pig but I don't believe the lipstick remark was an accident either, he is too perfect a speaker for that. I still believe he was playing up on her lipstick comment but saying she was McCain's lipstick. They both use distortions, but I thought Obama has been running on promises to be different. If everything he does not is the same old crap we have always seen, what makes anyone think he will be different after the election?

Hey, your the one creating imagined insults to toss at me so clearly your the one taking it personally, not me. You are just pissed I pointed out your petty attacks saying a pretty woman cannot possibly earn their way through life. Being as your so trapped on looks I can only figure you have none. The real reason for Americans to have the right to bear arms was to keep the government in it's place. With a populace that has the ability to stand up to it's leadership, you have a leadership that is truly accountable. Today, the average person in America is a sheep, willing to stand there and watch as the next sheep is killed without even trying to run away. There will be no civil war, we will slowly become Canada instead.

Well you know what they say, birds of a feather........ Being as most of the Liberal leadership are saying things like Palin being elected would be a step backward for women, or that Obama is comparable to Jesus, there is plenty of ignorance to go around in their party.

But when you point out Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and Pol Pot were all athiests and each one killed many more times the number killed in things like the crusades/witch hunts combined, the Athiests all claim we are being unfair to their religion. Oh, and make no mistake, I do see their belief system as another kind of religion, just based on worshiping themselves instead of a God. On the other side of the coin, we have positive things. While some bad things were done in the name of Christian beliefs, there are hundreds of millions of people who have been helped by Christian groups where athiests never help anyone. When was the last time you heard of an Athiest group going to rwanda to help people? Christians have been going to places the UN refuses to even notice for many generations. The largest athiest group in America is the A.C.L.U. and their biggest contribution to society is to help criminals get away with crimes and to abolish evil nativity sceenes from public property. At the same time Christian groups are helping millions of people every day with money donated by Christians without any desire to get anything back.

And I would add that it is also a generational thing. As each generation is raised to be dependant on the government to do their thinking for them and also see themselves as victims in everything. These people lose their ability to stand on their own two feet. Responsibility is also one of my sensative topics, in fact while I am religious, my reason for not supporting abortions is more because I detest people who kill to escape taking responsibility for their choices.

I am sorry, it sounded like you were offering personal experience, not just rumor spreading without any real knowledge about these women you were speaking about. Of course your use of profanity does show you to not really be in the kind of circles I move in. I don't associate with people who "fool around" and refuse to waste my life listening to rumors, most of the time rumors are 100% lie made up by bitter people. I prefer to believe people are good and honest until they prove otherwise. I don't see any reason to change my standards just because you are jumping to negative conclusions about a woman just because she is pretty. Right there your assuming her looks played a part, you cannot prove it did and claim I am somehow bad if I do not agree with your assumption. You cannot read McCain's mind or offer any hard proof to back up your claim she is only in the job for her looks but your saying it as fact anyway. That is the very definition of assumption. The only thing I pointed out was your assumptions that a woman who is pretty cannot possibly earn their way through life. I find that very Pessimistic and simply pointed that out. As we see with Job, suffering is part of life and offers society context to their existence. I love how athiests try to come up with all these attempts to prove God does not exist to those of us who know better. All you have to do is look at what happened each time an Athiest got control of an army to see how they are 100 times more destructive to this world than any religion.

And the same three reasons are what is driving the Liberals overboard and ready to say anything to put her down. I lost a lot of respect for my party when they started spending money like drunk Liberals but at least thy did not drown any girls while they were drunk. And I have come to the conclusion that anybody who thinks Obama is prepared and qualified to be the President of the Unites States is a fool blinded by hatred of anything not Liberal and hollywood glitz. I giggle each time these liberals try to attack Palin on her experience from one direction or another when their choice for President (not Vice President) has absolutely no experience in being an executive in any capacity whatsoever. Domestic or otherwise. Obama has never run anything, as his own running mate said just a few months ago, the job of President does not lend itself to on the job training. If even his own running mate says Obama is not prepared to be President, maybe the people should consider that a clue................ Anyway, just to give you a bit of into Bender, did you know that people have always said the best combination for office is to have a Govenor as the VP? A govenor is considered to have experience on a State level that a Senator does not have. The President of the Unites States is doing more than dealing with Washington, he is governing the States as a collective and it has always been seen as wise to have a represenative in the Whitehouse who also brings a voice from them and not just have two big government types who don't think of the needs the States have.

That is culture, not fashon.

Do believe only bad parents have teenage girls who get pregnant? Being a great role model is not a gurantee that everyone will pay attention and always do the right thing based on that model. Teenage girls have so many pressures on them that it is amazing their heads don't explode so this girl making one mistake does not mean her mother is a bad person or a bad parent, all it means is she made a mistake and has turned to her great mother to help her through this difficult time. Well from your attack on Sarah for her child getting pregnant I was wondering if you understood that parents cannot control their children like little robots. Well assumptions can be made in a lot of directions, but just because your assmuptions are taking the negative road, that does not mean your right. Her long history of involvement in the PTA and volunteering before being pressed into running for public office seems like a natural one step to the next process to me. Why can't a pretty woman be smart or successful without other women calling her morals into question? Is it really so impossible to believe that a beautiful woman could earn something? Let's remember that she still has a husband to go with all those kids, very solid of her considering single, never wed mothers are the fastest growing segment of our society. Unlike liberals, I don't think his color is a qualification to being President, I hope Americans are less impressed at this accident of birth than you are. Concerning her being qualified, name for me one person who was both more qualified and had a history of reform like McCain. And that meant what exactly? What shows Sarah as a great role model is how she stood by her daughter and helped her to make the right decision to not kill a life that had done nothing wrong. Sarah's convictions and high moral stength is the very definition of being a great parent. I don't know if you have children but you can't live your children's lives for them, you can do your best to teach them right from wrong but rarely do children truly listen 100% to what their parents tell them. Most kids have to go out and learn for themselves. Let me give you an example: Learning to walk, we can hold their hands only so long, sooner or later you have to let them try on their own and pick them up when they fall.

Well for a starter, other moms like Sarah show what a 'woman' can achieve without ever being a slut or a door mat. I was against Hillary because of her liberal politics but also because she was not a good role model for my daughter. Hillary allowed herself to be walked all over by her husband having affairs with anything that would hold still for three minutes. Hillary sold her self-respect for a chance to be successful at politics. Sure, younger women are needed as well but sometimes we have to take it one step at a time and get what we can, when we can. I am hoping this mother of 5 who has been successful in everything from beauty pagents to basketball, to hunting, to politics, can rub off on the younger women and that will possibly rub off on the older girls who might be looking at where they can possibly go with their lives. Young boys sometimes say they would like to be President when they grow up, wouldn't it be nice to have girls say the same thing? I know I want that for my daughter.
