Does that fall under the heading of someone who intentionally quotes a person on another person's ignore list to take shots at them?

Your not so much using projection as you are borrowing from the liberal handbook of doing everyhting and anything to avoid the original question, and doing a pretty good job of it too.

Sarah Palin Installed Tanning Bed at Governor's Mansion
timesjoke replied to RoyalOrleans's topic in Off Topic
Liberals show just how desperate they are with stuff like this. -
Exactly, and it goes further than that, higher taxes supress investment . Why put yourself at risk if even when your risk turns good, you have to give half of the profit to the government? Will the government pay half your losses if your investment cans? Hell no, so why are they entitled to half your profit? - when I say investment I mean any form of investment from stocks to creating a new business.
-
But again, he is also promising the largest government spending increases in 20 years. You can't increase spending and at the same time reduce collected taxes, that just does not work, and as to date, this desparity has never been addressed by a single Obama supporter, much less Obama himself. By the way, if he is considering leaving the Bush tax custs in place, and he is up to his neck in dirty political attacks, and he is considering a slower withdrawal of troops in Iraq, and he is now waffling on issues based on poll data.......... How exactly is Obama a "change" in Washington? Is this not exactly what every Presidential canidate has done for the last 20 years?

And this is why your an acceptable conservative and I am not. You play their game. The first step in the liberal game book is to completely ignore both the question and the spirit of the question that speaks about their key issues. The second step is to claim indignation and hurt feelings, to try and blam the one asking the question for being unfair or otherwise mean for putting them in a catagory or using labels to describe their key issues. The third step is to attack the person asking the question, to call into question their motivations or their integrity, maybe even use a few personal attacks. It is all just smoke, their only intention is to never answer the direct question and if they can, make you look like the bad guy. Where you went wrong (in my opinion) is you keep falling for the fake indignation. You immediately softened your tone and started with the appeasement. They made you give an inch and took a mile instead. That is what has happened to 'modern' conservatives, we have been made to feel guilty for pointing out the truth. Liberals never give an inch, their key issues are always completely off limits as you correctly pointed out, but conservatives are the ones caving in, we are giving up.

IWS, the reason they refuse to answer your question is not because they don't understand it, but the honest answer is not somehting they want to voice openly, that is the biggest problem with those who have that mindset to attack our American rights put forth by our constitution, to them they are wiser and better suited to say how things should be, the only time they show any respect for these rights (and that is fake respect) is when they can twist them to their own use. Forget the 'fact' that you can only remove 'legal' guns, criminals will always have guns, Canada has very strong gun control, their people are still being killed by those darn illegal guns though. If a guy is willing to say rob someone with a gun, why whould he be concerned with breaking another lesser law? When you point out that leagally owned guns are almost never used in crime they cover their ears and start yelling la,la,la. These same people who have no respect for our constitution also have little respect for true morals. These peopel feel they make something moral just by making it legal when in reality, laws have nothing to do with morals. Sure, laws have their beginning as written morals motivated by religious beliefs but these same liberals have been working hard to hijack laws from a religious standpoint and force them to serve their mission of making morals irrelivant. In national polls and studies, most Americans agree that abortions should either be ended or at least limited in some way, by a very large margin. In fact the margin is larger then those who believe we should run away from Iraq but still our lawmakers ignore the majority, why is that? Because abortion is one of those key liberal politically correct possitions. The liberals have been successful in making lawmakers fear to even mention restrictions on abortions. Look how they have been beating Palin over the head with the claim her only qualification for office is she has never had an abortion. To them, abortion is their key foothold in supplanting morals with human corrupt law, they will never let that foothold go.

I am sure it is just coincidence that these charges were made public now, when there is so much work being done to try and discredit and stain Palin with something to hurt her, even if it is just to create an negative image for the people in Alaska and not directly against her. This is not really a new kind of crime, mail personel have been getting busted with these kinds of crimes for a very long time. I have never really had a lot of respect for most government jobs, it seems like most don't really care about what they are doing, they are just "putting in their time". I am glad these guys were busted though, they also need some very harsh punnishments to go with it to show an example for the other mail employees.

Let me guess, when you look in the mirror? Do you think I am weak enough to stop asking the question you have been dodging for several pages of thread just because you and Bender are breaking the very rules your supposed to be protecting? Flames, personal attacks, etc are supposed to be against the rules here but I guess the rules are for others right? Your too important to live by rules? "Do as I say, not as I do" right man?
-
Well the music is nice, but if you put as much energy into being honest as you do with flames, personal attacks, and other deflections, this would have been a one page addition to the thread instead of being drawn out into this mess.
-
Your right, some things never change, like your dodging of the questions you are afraid to answer. Keep piling on the personal attacks, never mind they are also against the forum rules but being as your above the rules, that is not even a detail right? Have you ever saw a cop speeding and thought, "hey, he is supposed to represent the rules, he punnishes those who break the rules, why is he breaking the rules? Should he not be setting the example?" Are you and Bender "do as I say, not as I do" types?
-
I love the way your showing pictures of yourself crying, am I really that much of a threat to you that you have to deflect attention away from yourself like this? Along with the never ending stream of personal attacks you are also doing one other predictable thing, dodging the facts. And that is why every time you call me names and add demeaning tags to my screen name I am laughing my ass off at how transparent you are. I have said all along your the bosses of this little pond, I am not trying to make you change, all I have ever done is ask you to admit it, but I guess that was too much integrity to ask for right?
-
Well adding that tag to my name was real mature. More dodging through personal attacks I see, typical liberal all the way, lol.
-
So anyone who does not bow down to you, I already knew that but it is good to see you admit it at last.
-
Private messages are irrelivant to the facts. Either I disobeyed the rules of the forum or I did not. Sure, I can accept the idea that some people applied pressure on a personal level to take some action against me, but their pressure is not the rules of this forum, or at least that is not the way it should be. Now about this "crybaby" smear you two keep tossing around, what exactly is crying in your world? Is it just a person who does not bow down to you? The story of corrupt leadership believing themselves to be gods has been played out over and over throughout the span of time and each time it has always been the same: Those who do not agree with their unfair actions are called crybabies, trouble makers, that somehow the disenfranchised are the ones to be blamed, not you, your decisions must be pure and clean without the color of bias or anger, or even frustration, not even.....retribution or revenge. Right here in these last few comments made by both you and IWS you all but admit that you were under pressure from a couple people complaining about my views to remove me, to remove that which they did not agree with, to erase the opposition to their own possitions. Your own words, given at the time of the banning and with no reason to feel compelled to lie, you clearly said I was removed for "nit picking". Were you telling lies then or now? Now I ask this, who is the real crybaby, the guy standing here facing you with open discussion asking direct questions your too afraid to answer truthfully, or the people whispering in the background, begging you to remove me even though I have never broken the rules? You can dispense with the personal attacks on my character because I am immune to these childish tactics, we both know they are for the audience and not really for me because you already know I am too strong of a person to be bothered in that way. You see, there is your weakness when dealing with someone like me. I don't care what other people think of me. That is why you caved into pressure to remove me when you got the complaints and that is why you now cannot admit to the mistake, because you believe admitting it will diminish you in some way by those watching. To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
-
Why are you so afraid of the truth guys? There is either a record of my transgressions or not. If not then we have Bender's own words in black and white clearly stating I was banned for nit picking. We have some 'claims' of complaints from other people who did not like my views and opinions but again, no rule violations. Being as I did not violate the rules, clearly my removal was of a personal nature. Even if we take this new claim at face value, it is still my views and opinions that generated the complaints that you received.
-
Again, post the infraction log showing my rule violations if there was this long list of problems as you claim the record will show it. I already asked you to do this but you still refuse to do anythign but mention non existing verbal claims of my infractions. The only thing you so far you want to pin on me is some people complained, wow. I saw several people complain about Wez in the open but those peopel would not be the type to petition the leadership to help them. The only people who would have complained about me would have been the weak people that are severely liberal. Anyone else could handly their battles without running to mommie. So anyway, we are back to the facts. I was banned for my opinions. Either it was my opinions that upset people who complained or it was the opinions in the thread where Bender clearly gave that as my reason for being banned. I tend to lean tword Benders own words at the time he did it, but if you guys want to rewrite history and say it was people complained about my opinions, fine, either way I was removed for my views, not for any violation of the rules.

Your a tax paying, hard working, intelligent person who understands reality and does not blame anyone but yourself for your failings. You never take advantage of anyone and you believe people should not be allowed to come here illegally. You don't hate the military and you love America as is is "supposed" to be. You think you should be allowed to keep more of the money you work very hard to earn and do not like the fact lazy people get some of that hard earned money. Consider yourself soundly insulted. Well, it would all be 100% insults if you were a Liberal............ I tried, but damn, I can't really find somehting I do not like about you yet, give me some more time...............

I don't mind people believing what thye want to believe internally, but the hostility Athiests bring to the discussion proves they do not have an open mind. I touch on this a little with this thread: http://Off Topic Forum.com/on-topic-bs/27519-perceptions.html#post71438 Sometimes we cannot see the truth because our minds are too well trained to not see certain things.

At one time, man believed the world was flat. At one time man believed the Earth was the only planet in the universe. At one time Man knew nothing about radiation. At one time Man did not know things like bacteria existed. These are a few things offered as examples of one thing, not science itself but man's perception. Sure science has given us new methods of perceptions, but it is the perception within that really matters, not so much the reality. Man has always doubted what he could not see but I ask a question, did bacteria not exist during the time man was not able to perceive it? Of course not. Man has come a long way to be sure, but there are still men who refuse to believe things exist if they cannot perceive these things. I am not saying their wrong necessarily, but what I am saying is their being incapable of perceiving God does not prove he does not exist. Just like the Earth was round all along, even though man could not perceive of it's roundness up to a certain time. We are fooled by our perceptions all the time, we are even entertained by those who can trick our perceptions by people like magicians and even actors who play a false role in a believable way. Our minds color our perceptions with what we expect to see. Science has proven that there is actually a delay between what we see and it being defined by our mind so we sort of 'see into the future' with our expectations in order to do things like hit a baseball with a bat. Then there is the perception of trust. How many people get scammed by those we think we can trust due to false perceptions? A loving husband, a great lawyer, a trustworty investor, a smooth talking realtor, a nice car salesman, all these perceptions put people into harms way every day. But we still look for more and more perceptions, more things that can fool us. Then we ask why are we so easily fooled by our perceptions? The answer is because our perceptions are governed by our minds and we have a subconscious part of our mind that modifies our perceptions without us even knowing it. Maybe our perceptions are not the best judge of how things really are in this world.

"something" Well it certainly sounds clinical to word it that way to those who are not banned for voicing their opinions but to the one who gets banned it leaves a lot to be desired. Especially when the other side of that coin was allowed to break the rules almost daily and not earn a permanant ban as I was given. Just how is that "fair"? Look, the world is not fair and I am not really upset that they were unfair, as I keep saying over and over, all I am pointing out is the "truth" behind it, not calling for fairness. These guys are humans, they will make mistakes, they will also trend tword not admitting their mistakes as most humans do. But, I see no reason to 'let' them paint over the facts and even lie about it. I honestly was only jabbing at Bender for refusing to answer the question I asked him, IWS had to jump into the 'fight' and make a wrong claim about my banning so at that point, I had to defend against his lie. He blew this up much bigger than it ever had to be.
-
Exactly, this is my point as well. The Liberals are refusing to even admit that her time as a Mayor and Govenor is executive experience. If they refuse to admit that truth, why should anyone believe these same liberals will accept any answer she gives without trying to twist it into an attack? Remember, the Liberal leadership is saying she is a step backward for all women, she is compared to the killer of Jesus, they say her only qualification is she never had an abortion, the unfounded lies and attacks are never ending so why give them more stuff to lie about?
-
I did take the banning a tad personal, well as far as I allow something on the internet to be personal. Do you believe being banned for voicing your opinions is not personal? A banning is sort of a "e-slap" in the face and in this case, it was done because Bender got angry about me asking questions. He clearly said I was nit picking the rule so he banned me. I really do not care about the banning itself, just that the motivations for that banning for voicing my opinions are still alive and well in those who see nothing wrong with banning a member who did not violate any rule. No matter how 'fair' someone tries to be, when they are actively "in the trenches" they cannot preserve objectivity. Even Cloaked agreed with me on that point. Thanks for the birthday wishes, back at you as well, the old farts have to keep things straight with these younger wackos trying to ruin our hard work, lol.
-
Hey, it seems the most accepted form of debate here so why try and fight the system, rejoice, I have been conformed by you. Let's see if I can get this right, you are what you hate Bender, your hatred of Palin tells a lot about yourself.

Full story: The Associated Press: Pink Floyd member Richard Wright dies at age 65 This is very sad to me because I place a lot of credit for how my life has evolved to the song "Time" by Pink Floyd. My name here is based on this song and it's concept that no matter how hard we try, time will always have the last laugh, we cannot beat time. I have didicated myself to not playing the same 'chasing the sun' game most of society plays. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DXCHa9BYfE]YouTube - Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here (live)[/ame]
