My only problem with you Wez is you lie. You know you lie and when the lies are pointed out, you turn to personal attacks to change the subject away from what you were proven wrong about. You are also carrying a lot of personal garbage from other forums you have been banned from and taking it out on members here. Things like that have nothing to do with this forum and should be handled on the forum in question or in private messages if nothing else, but you like the attention, any attention you can find, so you start this drama queen crap to get that attention.

Funny stuff Wez, You attack everyone else calling them names and claiming they do you wrong but you refuse to admit when you are wrong, typical of people like you. It is you who is hypocritical, not everyone you attack every day.

The problem is when Wez is involved, every discussion is derailed. Time and again he is proven wrong and he turns to personal attacks to cover his mistakes, hoping the discussion will be all about that and everyone forgets he was proven wrong. I can understand why he gets banned everywhere he goes, he does not give the admins much of a choice.

What do you expect? Wez acts like he is on the playground arguing about how his dad can beat the other kids dad. He must be the most childish person I have ever seen on a forum, and I help moderate a gaming forum so I see very bad stuff sometimes. Every time he posts I hear a child's voice saying "I know you are but what am I?"

I believe the parents had something to do with it as well. Parents do not leave their small children alone in a hotel room, they just don't do that. They should be charged with Wreckless endangerment at the minimum. As doctors, you can bet they know how to preserve a dead body, and yes, interesting they decided to vacation in a Country well known for not looking too harshly at rich vacationeers for criminal acts.

I expect nothing more from your type, but I will keep trying anyway to help you and others like you to understand. Talk to an admin. Just like when you have the problem with a wal-mart employee, you talk to their manager, you don't chase them all over town and attack them in Target like a 5 year old. First of all, if you are chasing eddo around to attack him for what happened on another forum, you are in the wrong, you go to the admin for help with a moderator, not show your behind on other forums to complain. Again, forums are privately owned and run by people, not governments and do not need to conform to censorship laws set by the federal government that cover their offices. If you earned the negative attention of a moderator, then again, you "earned" that attention, maybe you should take what you earned like a man and stop acting like a 5 year old. If you want to keep the discussion private, then talk in private messages, if you post it in the public forum, then the public can discuss it. I would have thought you could understand that by now. You can always take it to pm's as eddo attempted if you want to make it private, if not, I will continue to insert my opinions on a public discussion. You are crying about something that happened on another forum, not this forum. I am sure that forum had rules that are completely different than the rules here as is the couple forums I am a mod on so that is why it is not relivant here. If you behaved there as you are behaving now, I can understand why you were censored, By the way, as eddo was trying to help you understand, private forums are not comparable to government censoring, it is apples and oranges. Wez, please take the time to figure out what you want to say "before" you hit the submit button. It is frustrating to answer your post just to see you have changed it several times while I was writing. You can preview your posts and read them through to be sure you included everything you wanted to say "before" you post it. That will make your posting experience easier and will create less confusion for everyone else.

Wez, you are completely unreasonable. If you have a problem with something that happened on another forum, then handle it on that forum, not this one. If you want to "have it out" with eddo because he was involved, fine, take it to private messages but it does not belong on the open forum of "this forum". You have sore feelings for what you felt was done to you by eddo, I can understand how that makes you feel but you don't let that battle spill out into the streets of any forum you can take the time to post it in. If you have a problem with an employee at wal-mart, you don't attack them if you see them at Target, there is a time and place for everything, and this is not the place for your grievance. I am a moderator on a couple forums and sometimes censorship is needed to keep the peace, sometimes people push the limits, they get outlandish just to either start trouble or to get attention and that kind of thing must be discouraged. I have only known you a short time but I will venture to say that you are an attention seeking type that sometimes needs a little nudge from staff to keep you from getting completely out of control. But that is just my first impression. Now, on censorship, I can see very limited reasons for justified censorship by the government, for example, I would see a good reason to stop state secrets from being exposed or screaming out bomb in crouded places, but as the Imus example shows, people can say what they want but must face civil reactions to that speech if it causes harm to others. Free speach is not intended to give people freedom from civil reactions, only to give you the right to express yourself without the Government imposing penalties. I do not know of any laws governing cartoons and forcing them to be removed from play so we need some information to continue talking about that.

If you think being on a slab is getting away, then fine, I prefer to see it as the criminal getting busted in an unconventional way, a tool if you will similar to shooting him. The bad guy is not robbing anyone else, he is not sitting at home laughing about "almost" getting busted, so clearly that is a win for society. Who cares if the cops did not get an official arrest, the results are all that matter to me.

People willing to rob a home in the middle of the day are hard criminals, and will (I did not say might) do harder crimes. It is in their blood, once a man moves to that level of crime, he is a complete waste of air and needs to be removed from society. That said, I don't believe they should all die but death is one way to be sure they don't continue to prey on society. I find it difficult to feel bad for hard criminals because it is their own actions that lead to these kinds of stories. Without the criminal act, they would now be alive and no news story so we must look to their criminal mind to find the beginning of the mess. How much you wanna bet other criminals in that area are now thinking twice?

Just to let you know, adultery is illegal in washington DC and has up to a 5 year penalty per event, interesting......... As snafu says, we are a nation of laws, laws are needed to hold the nation together, remove those laws and no society. How many laws would we have if we allowed someone to get rid of them just because someone did not like them? If we all picked one law we don't like, we go to zero laws and chaos starts. I should have said how families are supposed to do, but still they must pay their loans each month or lose what they are buying while the government just forces higher taxes and never takes the time to be responsible. Charity should be done by communities, not governments. If a good person just hits a bad spot in the road, his family, his friends, his community will all help him get back on his feet. If a lazy person is just too lazy to work, his family, his friends, his community will all let him sleep in the bed he made. The government cannot see into the heart of a person to see if they are deserving of free money from taxpayers or if they are just lazy, so they should not be trying to do what they cannot do well. The things the Federal Government should be doing is working to keep jobs here and not sent over seas, either through incentives or import taxes to protect Americans in my opinion. If we keep going like we are, we will have no industry and America will be one big service industry Country where we are all asking "do you want fries with that?".

Yes, this is a complex issue, but one of the most important issues we have in modern society. Teachers, I have worked as a school volunteer for over 15 years and there is one thing about Teachers few know, they are the only employees who spend their own money to purchase needed materials for the day to day function of their job. They go to Wal-Mart and buy things because if they don't, they cannot do their job. For those of you that work, are you willing to take your paycheck and spend part of it to help your employer? Another little known fact about teachers is how much time they spend doing their jobs at home. Most of us work a schedule but teachers work until the work is done, sometimes getting their entire family around the kitchen table grading tests all night. How many of us will have our spouses and children working for free to help our employer? Now, that said, we need to hold teachers accountable for teaching, there are lots of bad teachers out there and the only real way of finding them is to test and see if kids are learning. We need to pay teachers more in my opinion but have strict policies on performance, with testing for kids in the classes and even testing the teachers to ensure they know what they are teaching. Students, kids these days are difficult to teach, they have low motivation and walk around with an air of entitlements. Strict rules need to be made for dealing with bad attitudes and it needs to be strictly followed. Kids are kids, and need discipline to be successful. Education, We keep lowering standards, an "A" is not 90 to 100 when it used to be 95 to 100. We keep dumming down education to allow the greatest amount of students to pass while we keep falling behind the rest of the world in education. We stay fairly even until middle school, then many Countries pass us by and this is sad. I say increase standards and offer extra assistance to those that cannot keep up or have trade schools that offer an alternative path to education geared for those kids more likely to be doing things like construction or other hands on jobs. Everyone is not the same, why have a one size fits all school system? taxes for education, While I don't want new taxes (who does) we cannot keep herding kids into classrooms, spending the least amount possible to educate them, and then expect outstanding results, that is just impossible. The problem with any government, Federal, State, or local, is that htey have too many special interests all dipping their hands into the money and by the time the most important things get their turn at the till, there is little remaining for them to use. In my opinion, there are too many things getting money from the government that are usepess, like millions spent on a study of bugs or moss, while thise studies can be helpful to raw knowledge, it helps very few and costs massive amounts of money when we cannot afford it. I attend every town meeting, county commisioners meeting, and school board meetings in my area. I have something to say at most meetings (I know that will shock all of you, lol) but I always start with one saying that most people tend to repeat with me at the start of every comment I make, "Our governments should run like our homes, with restraint on spending on things we cannot afford, and the wisdom to understand we cannot do everything that sounds good." In my opinion, we need to make our future secure first, balance our budgets, and educate out children. Secure our borders and keep a strong military, Feed the "truly" needy and maintain basic services like fire and rescue, as well as roads, lights etc..... Everything else should come second and only get money if we have money still remaining, if not, we should accept that as a reality just like we would if we were considering buying a new car we could not afford and wait till another time, or maybe even never, we only have so much money, there needs to be limits.
