  1. Just more of the same anti-religious trends we have to live with. I have always though it interesting that the liberal groups like the ACLU have attacked even the slightest hint of religion in public schools and yet are completely silent of the new trend in many public schools to have special rules for Muslim students to allow for several prayer breaks during the day, some have even created special classes of just muslim students so there will be no bothering of the muslim students while they are doing their prayers. The Muslims seem to be the wild card for the politically correct crowd to even let them ignore public school involvement in religion. It is sad but part of the challenge us Christians must face.
  2. Chi's word, not mine, I was asking her to explain but as usual, she never answers a question. Wez, your funny dude, and as usual your posting just trying to pick a fight, I have learned you either don't understand things like a normal person or your just pretending not to understand just to again, pick fights, either way, trying to discuss anything with you is not really worth it. In general I say yes, it was perfectly fine to take this land from the Indians, we can't be frozen into inaction by something like that, the Europeans were not moving into the Indian communities refusing to do their fair share to support themselves, they were self sufficient while the illegals are mostly on welfare and causing massive crime problems everywhere they gather, and again, most of the emergency room bills Obama was talking about is because of them, not Americans. The point is we are being invaded and the invaders are not even taking care of themselves, the money is gone, we no longer have the luxery of looking the other way. Decisions must be made and if some are too scared and timid to do what must be done, then at least step aside and stop being part of the problem with the stalling tactics like calling people racist. You know Wez, I once asked you if you were so much against the use of force, would you call the police if someone had stolen from your home, you admitted you would call the police so clearly you are okay with the use of force as long as it is used for you and what you believe in, a true believer in it being wrong to use Government force would never believe using force is right, so in these discussions, your the one with issues, lol.
  3. You most likely did not vote right to get your free money.
  4. Yeah.. you're one hell of a communicator.. Did you make this post all for me? awwwww.. I'll try harder.. just for you. Can I fetch your slippers for your approval? http://Off Topic Forum.com/top...6190-timeshush/ Sure Wez, just like your inital post was just for me too, great to be able to show each other how much we care right?
  5. Why not join in instead of only trying to derail the discussion? Or simply ignore it if the topic offends you so much? One thing none of you can say Is that I ever entered into one of your threads with the intent to derail it with this kind of garbage, I may not say what you want to hear, but I always try to take each thread and it's topic seriously.
  6. And yet all of that is still you attacking me as a person and completely ignoring the topics, as usual that is all you can ever offer. Where is the "debate"? I say something you don't agree with you and toss insults? That to you is debating? Spelling? Attacking spelling? Now that is lame, I have said many times I don't spell well, but I get the point made and if your so stuck on looking at spelling while your completely ignoring everythign else then at least I provided you with your level of entertainment while those who are honestly interested in real discussion can look past the little things and do so. How about you try talking about the tooics instead of making everything about your need to take shots at me? And if I am so bad, why waste your time at all? Why post at all? Your need to strike out proves that I am making great and profound points that make your feel threatened so your need to attack is how you hide your inability to support your own beliefs. If your had good reasons to go against my points you would say them, your not shy or stupid, your very smart so the only real reason is you can't offer anything better than insults, and that is a real shame.
  7. lol, yep, okay........
  8. So emkay, you got this thing for me today? Why spam off topic stuff in my thread? Does the topic upset you so much you have to derail it? I bet you can't even articulate 'why' you hate to have an open and honest debate about this, you just know that you can't let it happen.
  9. And I have asked you guys over and over again at how boring the world would be if we all agreed on everything. Don't feel bad, many humans have made that choice to stop being sweet in this modern world, I guess it is too much trouble. But you do show a tad bit of it now and then, remember the day we all shared pictues in the shout box? You were very sweet that day. And there is where most of you do differ from me. I do care, not because I want to be like you or mirror your beliefs to fit in but because I really do want to know where people are coming from on their possitions but more often than not when you pressure people on the "why" of their beliefs they turn out not really knowing themselves and that is why they turn insulting because they have no other way of defending their beliefs. I say the two girls in my office who spend the day typing out the various proposals and contracts for all of us type about a million more words a day than I could even fully understand. One of the girls types over 100 words per minute, I'm sure if she can type a lot without any carpal tunnel syndrome, I should be good to go, lol.
  10. So you can't back up your claim of this being lame and want to change the subject? Some may dissagree out of reaction but I really am a very smart guy, sure I have my opinions but I am always ready to hear how I can be wrong and I am ready. willing, and able to adjust my possitions on just about anything should someone have the ability to show me how I am wrong on something.
  11. You make me laugh sometimes em, you really do, in some ways your very sweet and nice and other ways your pretty insulting. I never pick and choose the law, I see the law for what it is supposed to be, a representation of what society wants and desires for their moral stands. You see the law as the beginning and the end of your own morals, I do not, so that is why I can agree with some laws and dissagree with other laws when they fly in the face of what the comunities want while you seem stuck in agreeing with whatever moral stand is fed to you. Look at it this way, if a state made molesting children legal, would you still support their legal possition? Would you still say the Federal Government should take a hands off approach? Was the Federal Government wrong to strike down slavery laws in the States that still allowed the ownership of slaves? Your completely missing the real point emkay. If the States want to release a monster onto the streets, shoudl the federal Government have the power to step in and stop it? I say yes. And the real point of a debate is to discuss our views, not to put me down just because I don't agree with your views.
  12. Call me strange if you like but I don't want a pedophile to have the same rights as everyone else. Everyone else did not demonstrate their inability to live in a peaceful society, these pieces of garbage did so they earned the penalty to forever be scorned and shunned from society. We take away rights "for cause" all the time, we even execute Americans and that would be the ultimate of the taking away of rights. I do not believe a monster like a child molester can be rehabilitated into society, the risk is too great. Interesting how in theory many people defend these scumbags but I bet if a child molester moved next to one of these defenders and they had children, I bet they would be scared to death for their children. It is always easy to say "some other" society should take these child molesters in, but I don't know anyone who would volunteer to take them into their home. If the Federal Government is not there to protect society, what are they there for? Let me ask a different question, what is worse, the Government holding a dangerious and horrible animal in prison to protect society, or to let that person go and he molest another child, what is the greater harm? I say the child being molested is the greater harm. edit to add: The same can be said for a terrorist, if the Government knows they will kill innocents when released, should they release them? It is so easy to say yes, but what if it is your child who is raped and killed, I bet you might see it a tad different then.
  13. Again those who do not agree with something turn to attacking the speaker instead of addressing the topic. Why is it unaccurate or lame? We have people in Mexico who are poor and looking for a new life so they break into America illegally and take away from those who live here legally. Consider the billions of dollars Arizona spends every year to take care of illegals as an example. Consider the drug trade they bring with them (small number I admit). And why is it that anyone who wants to stop illegal immegration is called a racist? Why must I or anyone else be labled a racist just because we want people who come to America to do it the right way? By the way, when Obama was talking about people going to emergency rooms and it costing the American taxpayer a lot of money, where do you think the 12 million illegals get their medical care? This bill does not address that so we will still have this same problem, everybody is scared to talk about the real facts behind illegal imegration, and the few of us who are brave enough to talk about the facts are called names to try and belittle us into silence because they can't logically defend this mess.
  14. I think you find communication quite perplexing.. Only with you in the past, but now I think I have it figured out
  15. I'm not you crap? Throwing what you hate is what you are and that is why you hate it in peoples faces? Appears I already made you me.. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ~ Charles Caleb Colton hahahahaha... I find it easier to communicate with people in their own language, lol.
  16. That's because you're a radical liberal socialist.. You can't make me you Wez.
  17. You wake up one day and you get ready for work, eat a light breakfast, and take your usual drive to start your day, never understanding that you are about to be transformed into a racist. While at work a down on their luck, hard working couple from Mexico breaks into your home and move in. When you come home after a long day you discover the couple cooking some food in your kitchen and you are surprised. You attempt to talk to them but obviously they do not speak English so you call your next door neighbor because you know he speaks Spanish and after some time with them talking he turns to you and tells you that they are poor people who need your help and they will be living with you from now on. You stand there not really believing what was just said and you tell your neighbor that these people can't stay in your home, that you feel bad they have some hardships but you can't take responsibility for their lives when you have your own problems to deal with. You neighbor looks at you funny, then says, You know Bob, I didn't know you were a racist. Suddenly you can feel a little uneasy and even a little angry, you wonder at how this guy can call you a racist just because you don't want someone breaking into your home and living off you so you try to explain that this has nothing to do with race, your just not capable of taking responsibility for fixing the broken lives of strangers who break into your home. But that has your neighbor on the phone and before you know it, you now have 30 Latino people on your lawn with signs all calling you a racist. "Bob is a racist" is chanted in your front lawn and your neighbor is sitting down to eat a meal with the people who have taken over your home while all you can do is ask yourself a question, how did I become a racist? Feeling tired and mentally shredded you sit down in your favorite chair and as you start to watch the news, you hear a great commotion at the dinner table where your new "guests" are eating their meal so you get up to see what is happening. As you enter the room your neighbor comes to you and says the wife is about to have a baby and you need to take her to the hospital, and just as you have them loaded up and start to drive away from what used to be your home, the neighbor leans over to you and says, I hope you have insurance, your going to have to pay for the baby being born.
  18. King even had some bad history with the cops in the past, the reason the officers were found innocent is because the State pushed the racist element as the main focus but there was even another black man in the car with King that they never touched. This guy was a known azzhole and the cops saw it as a chance to do some sterrt justice to someone who they felt deserved it. They were wrong of course and needed to go to prison. IWS is right in that the Federal laws are used as a safety net for the States most of the time, the officers in question would never have been charged with Federal crimes had the State been responsible enough not to blow their case, but they did screw up and the Feds had to fix that mistake for them as a matter of public safety. This case is the same way, if the local States cannot get their heads out of their Azz long enough to do what is needed to protect the communities, then they are asking for the Feds to step in and act in the interest of protecting the people. Protecting the communities is a function of Government.
  19. I predict you are a dumbass.. can we see some idiotbox action for the pointless/needless attack? TJ got it... maybe wez deserves some. Anything done against me is good.
  20. Well I don't think it is a matter of what he wishes, if that is a clear path of choice for illegals then we should have that area protected, this is an invasion into our Country and the Federal Government is intentionally allowing it to happen. This Rancher is risking losing everything he owns because our Government represenatives refuse to do their jobs.
  21. Well I agree, as does most Americans, but the liberals need all the votes they can get, and a little thing like being illegal should not get in the way of them getting their votes.
  22. Consider the case of Rodney King where the officers were found innocent in State trial and the Federal Government stepped in and used Federal charges to punnish the officers. Sometimes the States get it wrong, sometimes the Federal Government must step in and fix what the States screw up, public safety "IS" the job of the Government. One of the problems is as you said, the penalties for sexual crimes should be at least doubled, any child predator should get a life sentence without possibility of release......ever. There should be no acceptence of child molestation at all.
  23. You know what is really interesting? The radical Left are always talking about how Bad Fox News is and how those who listen to Fox news are bad but guess what? Tonight Fox News is defending Obama in that there really is nothing that the Administration can do. Sure, a couple loudmouths have said they could shove BP out of the way but the Federal Government does not have the resources or the engineering expertice to work on anything a mile below the water. Like it or not, the Federal Government needs BP in this situation and any talk of going it alone without BP is simply foolish. Interesting how only Fox is being reasonable, too bad the other main Networks have stopped being news groups and are instead far left propaganda machines.
  24. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/feb/09/16-illegals-sue-arizona-rancher/ An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border. Roger Barnett, 64, began rounding up illegal immigrants in 1998 and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol, he said, after they destroyed his property, killed his calves and broke into his home. His Cross Rail Ranch near Douglas, Ariz., is known by federal and county law enforcement authorities as "the avenue of choice" for immigrants seeking to enter the United States illegally. Trial continues Monday in the federal lawsuit, which seeks $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations, the infliction of emotional distress and other crimes. Also named are Mr. Barnett's wife, Barbara, his brother, Donald, and Larry Dever, sheriff in Cochise County, Ariz., where the Barnetts live. The civil trial is expected to continue until Friday. The lawsuit is based on a March 7, 2004, incident in a dry wash on the 22,000-acre ranch, when he approached a group of illegal immigrants while carrying a gun and accompanied by a large dog. Attorneys for the immigrants - five women and 11 men who were trying to cross illegally into the United States - have accused Mr. Barnett of holding the group captive at gunpoint, threatening to turn his dog loose on them and saying he would shoot anyone who tried to escape. The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which also charged that Sheriff Dever did nothing to prevent Mr. Barnett from holding their clients at "gunpoint, yelling obscenities at them and kicking one of the women." In the lawsuit, MALDEF said Mr. Barnett approached the group as the immigrants moved through his property, and that he was carrying a pistol and threatening them in English and Spanish. At one point, it said, Mr. Barnett's dog barked at several of the women and he yelled at them in Spanish, "My dog is hungry and he's hungry for buttocks." The lawsuit said he then called his wife and two Border Patrol agents arrived at the site. It also said Mr. Barnett acknowledged that he had turned over 12,000 illegal immigrants to the Border Patrol since 1998. In March, U.S. District Judge John Roll rejected a motion by Mr. Barnett to have the charges dropped, ruling there was sufficient evidence to allow the matter to be presented to a jury. Mr. Barnett's attorney, David Hardy, had argued that illegal immigrants did not have the same rights as U.S. citizens. Mr. Barnett told The Washington Times in a 2002 interview that he began rounding up illegal immigrants after they started to vandalize his property, northeast of Douglas along Arizona Highway 80. He said the immigrants tore up water pumps, killed calves, destroyed fences and gates, stole trucks and broke into his home. Some of his cattle died from ingesting the plastic bottles left behind by the immigrants, he said, adding that he installed a faucet on an 8,000-gallon water tank so the immigrants would stop damaging the tank to get water. Mr. Barnett said some of the ranch´s established immigrant trails were littered with trash 10 inches deep, including human waste, used toilet paper, soiled diapers, cigarette packs, clothes, backpacks, empty 1-gallon water bottles, chewing-gum wrappers and aluminum foil - which supposedly is used to pack the drugs the immigrant smugglers give their "clients" to keep them running. He said he carried a pistol during his searches for the immigrants and had a rifle in his truck "for protection" against immigrant and drug smugglers, who often are armed. A former Cochise County sheriff´s deputy who later was successful in the towing and propane business, Mr. Barnett spent $30,000 on electronic sensors, which he has hidden along established trails on his ranch. He searches the ranch for illegal immigrants in a pickup truck, dressed in a green shirt and camouflage hat, with his handgun and rifle, high-powered binoculars and a walkie-talkie. His sprawling ranch became an illegal-immigration highway when the Border Patrol diverted its attention to several border towns in an effort to take control of the established ports of entry. That effort moved the illegal immigrants to the remote areas of the border, including the Cross Rail Ranch. "This is my land. I´m the victim here," Mr. Barnett said. "When someone´s home and loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into my own hands. And I always watch my back."
  25. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/may/21/no-penalty-for-misuse-of-federal-credit-cards/ You have to go read this to understand it but basically while Government departments were in the process of being reorganized, several people with Government issued credit cards went on personal spending sprees for a couple years. Flat panel televisions, suits, gym memberships, just about anything you can imagine they were using these cards for and they would simply not register their purchases properly to hide what they were doing. After several years of investigation they know who spent the money, and what they purchased, but not one person has been put in jail. Not one.
