The German government had no stake or responsibility to protect French people. The harm was done to a french child, not a German child.

Some things we can know for sure, germs do exist for example, their properties and abilities may change but we can say for sure they exist and not that long ago we didn't even know that for sure.

Well your talking about personal reality and that is why I made the two completely seperate points, one personal and the other reality. Germs always existed in reality even when we did not have the ability to perceive they were there for example. On a personal level we will act based on our own perceptions of reality but just because one or many people share a certain perspective, that does not mean they are right. Consider how many Muslims including the rulers of Iran say the Holocaust never happened. Are they right? Well you said it best in that Fox has them all smashed in the ratings so what does that say about how "the people" view the issue? To a certain degree all this is helping Fox because as the saying goes, any attention is good attention when your looking for viewers. I remember seeing a story where even the non news segments of Fox have seen some increased viewership because of this so I guess it is a win/win for Fow while Obama is looking like a spoint brat having a temper tantrum. He was proud to show how he was nothing like Bush and that would include the fact that he has no backbone when dealing with those who do not worship him. Bush faced ten times the dissagreement to his policies than this and he never cried like this.

I feel your pain brother, those who do not agree with us on some of this stuff won't stand still long enough to hear us out. The Liberals have pretty much won the war on ignoring anyone who does not agree with them. I love the recent issue with Obama wanting everyone to not consider Fox a new source. They named two opinion shows as the reason Fox can't be considered a new show and yet they ignore that all the other stations have opinion shows as well so if just having an opinion show is grounds to not be considered a new station, then nobody can be considered a new station. Where was this possition when all the opinion shows on the other netwoprs were critical of Bush? Did Bush refuse all interviews with Networks who said something negative about him? He may have reduced them sure, but he never had this kind of temper tantrum and tried to start a movement to deny them their status as a news group.

Even then people will tend to resist that new reality because the existing reality is difficult to let go. How many people still believe in the promised "change" that we will never see for example? I guess my real point is we hacve two battles to fight, one of trying to understand what reality "is" and the other to even get our own minds to accept the new ideas when it seems to be in our nature to not accept new things when we already have a belief in something. How long did people still believe the world is flat even after people had sailed around the Earth for example?

Actually you did, we had this discussion about a month ago and I posted it then, I am not going to keep going back just because you can't remember your own words. If Ali does not make the first personal attack, I have nothing to respond to now do I? When Ali is not attacking me, I actually like almost all of what she says. She is smart and I even seriously took her advise on my tattoo issues. But when Ali wants to be ugly, well I just have never seen anything like it in my 44 years on this Earth. I would never put Ali on ignore because I value what she says when she is not attacking me. Strange I know, but at least I can offer her some credit where it is due.

No you were angry from the other thread and decided to take a shot at me in this thread, you do it all the time. First you say the two concepts are not complicated or new then you say it was a contradiction, make up your mind. There is no contradiction, one is about the perceived reality, and the other is about actual reality, in your need to be critical at any cost your trying to jamb the two completely seperate parts to one so you can claim there is a contradiction. This is what I am talking about with you Ali, you can't debate anything without making personal attacks. The SEC took action against that team and suspended them. The call on Sheppard in the Gator game even I had to say was BS. I don't think that would have changed the outcome though, time and again Tebo always finds a way to win and even with 4 back breaking turnovers they still won. There are not many teams out there who could still win after 4 turnovers like that. But I still say the number 1 spot in the ranking should have been blank this week to make a statement to all the teams that they need to get more professional, things were horrible this past weekend. Ohio lost to Purdue? Texas tried to lose their game too, I really hope they all get their act together this weekend.

Well as usual you jump on the bandwagon Joe, you did it at the Jungle all the time too. The tread was fight, fight, fight, not debate, debate, debate. You will also see mentions of blood if I were to be matched to Ali and she saying she would have to be smuggled to Mexico. Sure sounds like an altercation in a physical way to me long before my first post, but of course admitting that would not let you join in on the usual gangbang now would it? Everything you guys do is 100% justified because in your minds, I do not deserve fair treatment.

I see it differently: The law is there to serve the people but when the law stops serving the people then it is no longer deserving of pure respect. This man staying silent would have the doctor still in France assaulting children, both the original charges and this return to France was only possible by the lone actions of the father, not by the work of the Government to serve the public. What this man did was send a message to the Government that the people will not stand by and watch them not do their jobs. The French Government should be ashamed of their refusal to serve the people. If I was the Judge I would dismiss the charges against the Father because he was forced to find justice for his daughter because of a Government who did not give a sh!t about this case.

That said I would still gladly have any debate under the no personal flames rule, it would be the first time I have debated with Ali that she has not called me and Tami nasty names......even if everyone on the forum voted her as winning I would still feel a great deal of satisfaction from that. And speaking about the flame trend, here shows eddo to "save" Ali from her current dilema: Why is it you two are always running interference for each other? When one is floundering the other tries to come to the rescue. Here you again turn to personal attacks calling me full of crap when you know I have told the truth. Chi should be showing up soon to join in if the usual gameplan has been put into play. Even in the MrsK thing you both admitted there was no reason to tear her apart on the subject being discussed but you still felt justified because of how you both were wronged by MrsK in the past. The German authorities refuse to allow extradiction and after many years of trying to follow by the rules, the father has someone abduct the doctor from Germany and bring him back to France......... And the father is in trouble for kidnaping. Is this father in the wrong? Should he have dropped it or did he do right by bringing the doctor to justice even if the Government had given up?

Out of every single exchange we have had, I have "NEVER" instigated a personal attack Ali. Now I will admit to tossing a few slams back at you once you started it and that would be my part in keeping the flames fanned but if you had never started it, there would be nothing to fan. Consider me a mirror, what you show me I give back, but then again, I have never attacked your loved ones while you have attacked mine so even as a response, there are lows you have traveled I will never stoop down to Ali. My point in this is maybe your need to start flames might be because you see yourself as losing the arguement so you want to "win" in any way you can think of so you turn to personal attacks instead, if you can't "win" in one way, you will win in another. Well you completely miss the point, perceptions may not be reality, but they are the only thing us humans have to make our decisions on. Germs did exist before methods were invented to let us perceive them but without that ability to perceive them, we could never behave as if they did exist. It is like saying if we knew the bad guy was in the back seat we would have never gotten into the car, you can't look backwards to figure out what you might have done if your perceptions had been different because the action has already happened. I know it is a complicated concept but if you put some time into it I am sure you will be able to grasp the difference between what is reality and what is perception and the most important part, how we behave because of this difference. So just as a recap, in one part I am taking about how we as humans see things, in the other part I am talking about reality outside of how people see them, that is why it may seem a contradiction but in reality it is not. Interesting this is the first forum where people could not understand the point I was making, I have had hundreds of people from all walks of life all offer comments and some compliments and yet you two can't grasp the concept? By the way, could you not quote Wez speaking to me please, I have no desire to ever see a single word he has to say to me, I am done with 5 year old mentalities. I posted this at the Jungle but I believe I was banned here when I first wrote this so in reply to Ali's comment about not remembering it I wanted to post this here: At one time, man believed the world was flat. At one time man believed the Earth was the only planet in the universe. At one time Man knew nothing about radiation. At one time Man did not know things like bacteria existed. These are a few things offered as examples of one thing, not science itself but man's perception. Sure science has given us new methods of perceptions, but it is the perception within that really matters, not so much the reality. Man has always doubted what he could not see but I ask a question, did bacteria not exist during the time man was not able to perceive it? Of course not. Man has come a long way to be sure, but there are still men who refuse to believe things exist if they cannot perceive these things. I am not saying their wrong necessarily, but what I am saying is their being incapable of perceiving God does not prove he does not exist. Just like the Earth was round all along, even though man could not perceive of it's roundness up to a certain time. We are fooled by our perceptions all the time, we are even entertained by those who can trick our perceptions by people like magicians and even actors who play a false role in a believable way. Our minds color our perceptions with what we expect to see. Science has proven that there is actually a delay between what we see and it being defined by our mind so we sort of 'see into the future' with our expectations in order to do things like hit a baseball with a bat. Then there is the perception of trust. How many people get scammed by those we think we can trust due to false perceptions? A loving husband, a great lawyer, a trustworty investor, a smooth talking realtor, a nice car salesman, a famous D2 duel master, all these perceptions put people into harms way every day. But we still look for more and more perceptions, more things that can fool us. Then we ask why are we so easily fooled by our perceptions? The answer is because our perceptions are governed by our minds and we have a subconscious part of our mind that modifies our perceptions without us even knowing it. Maybe our perceptions are not the best judge of how things really are in this world. I originally wrote this about faith and the existence of God but it holds true for just about everything in life.

You can have eddo if you want, it is the journey, not the destination that makes life great. Is this the source of our problems? You always see things as winning or losing? Never said there was not, I explained my possition on that. I am confident in my abilities and have been tested in a real life/death situation where I came out alive, to me that is all the tempering I need to show I can take care of myself. There is always someone bigger and stronger, but the question is are they willing to die to face me? Someone who is at my level would never start that fight. "I" would never start that fight, but there is a big difference between starting a fight and finishing it.

They would still have the same number of children in classrooms so they would still need the teachers, if any jobs were saved it was office workers, not teachers. Sure, some teachers may go eventually, but that would not have been the first cuts. I have sat in many school board meetings where cutting money was discussed, there are few things that get the voters screaming against their local officials more than cutting teachers when they look around and see a hundred people working in offices that are not even close to a classroom much less actually teaching a child.

Numbers that will never be seen in a public school classroom and over 95% of the Nations locations for higher learning, lol.

I have enough experience in real fighting, not sport fighting, to at least know that nobody can beat me easily. I was attacked by four men with the intent to beat me to death one time and lived to tell about it, but one of them did not. To me every fight is win or die, I teach people to put all they have into the fight because in a real fight, they will be dead if they can't fight off their attacker.
