[Part 3]
Well I am done with high school. It was so odd watching friends I have gained and lost over the years be called off in front of 1000+ people. The arena hold 5K and it was basically crowded. I felt sad in a way, but glad I am moving to bigger and better things. The night was so epic. It started with me and a friend getting kicked out of "guests only" cause we had to park somewhere special not the normal student parking lot. As I got out of the car Jess pulled up beside me and the first time since Monday she gave me a big smile and said "Hey you". She wanted me to hold her keys since her dress didn't have pockets (it was kinda short and sluttish, but I didn't want to ruin the moment). I just wanted to enjoy talking to her. When we got into the auditorium I walked over to my assigned seat and on the way stopped and talked to all my buddies. It was odd knowing some I may never see again. All the girls I know we harassing me about my all black dress clothes and brown shoes, but they were all I had. Got to my seat and was given our class flower, a white rose to put on. I didn't know how so I just asked this smoking hott girl I once had a chance with, but at the time was to shy to ask out, Alisha to help me. She pulled me really close and put it on for me, and the kid sitting beside me when I sat down said, "you are so lucky to get that close to her". I just smiled then the girl beside me, who has a rebel attitude asked me to hold her phone which I was surprised was pink. The two hott girls to her right gave me stuff to hold on to till after graduation. My pockets were so full but you couldn't tell under the gown.
1/2 way threw the name calling (and people getting diplomas) the tornado siren went off. After it stopped we found out it was going the other way and continued the celebration. I was surprised when my name got called a couple people yelled "STORIEEEEE!!!". I laughed I was surprised it wasn't just a quiet clap that 90% of people got. We all cheered when this guy named Jake (who had been a senior the last 3 years) finally graduated. It was ended with a moment of silence for a kids named Josh (he was mentally handicapped and past away early this year), Justin (committed suicide 2 weeks ago so close to graduating), and one of my personal favorite people and friend to everyone who knew him Weston. Weston was the nicest kid in the world I don't know one person who didn't like him he always sat quiet and didn't bother anyone. He was not shy either. He died in a car crash last year.
When we were walking out I turned to my friends sitting near me and we all gave each other fives, and walked out. Jess told me she was so happy we were finally done and glad she didn't trip. I just laughed, I didn't know what to say I knew her boyfriend was probably watching me like hawk, and didn't want to start anything between them or him and me. As I walked out it was full of hugs, highs fives, and goodbyes. Some people were even crying. For a group of 483 students we were all still kinda tight in a way. A few Mom gave me hugs and congratulated me, and some pictures were taken. I went and got my diploma from home room, and gave Jess her keys back, Brittany her house key (which I secretly wish I could of copied), and Adrien her phone. Me and my best friend (aside from Jess when we were still talking a lot) walked out together and he decided some people were coming out to my house (me and my parents don't care) so we could all go do something (which I am waiting for them all to show up now). Overall school is done and I get to look forward to college. Here I come Purdue.
