And you don't take a family photo with your daughters "love child" tummy up front. You stick her in the back if your tyring to hide the fact.
No, no. The daughter is pregnant and Obama is a Muslim. The picture is never wrong or taken out of context.

Well, if you had a daughter who was pregnant and you didn't want people knowing... beings as you all pro life and Jesus loving and the GUV and all, you'd probably tuck her under a rock for a few months and stuff a pillow under your shirt too. (It's all political).
.

.
Why would she want no one to know? As Alaskans and most Americans we are all pretty used to unwed mothers. I can't think of any other reason for a cover up / conspiracy. There's no logical reason. Would her hormones kick in and couldn't govern with a straight head?

Your talking about a back woods church. Her daughter would not be shunned and although it would have no effect on her job, Sarah wanted to prove she was capable (which she was) to do the job as a preganat women.

The Dems are grasping at straws on this one. They want to say anything they can to bring her down along with move attention away from John Edwards' love child he made while his wife was recovering from her fight with cancer.

Somehow, raising your daughter's disabled child, as opposed to aborting it as a Dem would likely do, doesn't seem like much of a "scandal" even if it is true.

Kind of seems like someone willing to give and sacrafice for the less fortunate, to me.

This story was news 4 months before the DEMS got ahold of it. Play your DEM .vs REP game elsewhere. Sarah is toast whether the allegations are true or not. It wasn't even 24 hours since McCain's "SURPRISE" pick of Palin that 3 or more scandals were available.. is that the "VERY EFFICIENT" DEM spin machine in action, or is there something more to it? I myself don't give the democrats that much credit for being that efficiant.

I'm not saying the Dems came up with this but they are latching onto this weak dig at Palin, because they don't have anything of substance on her.

Troopergate could dog Palin on campaign

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Troopergate. It's a political he-said, she-said that has dogged Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for nearly two months and is likely to do so for another two months leading to the Nov. 4 presidential election.

The little-known vice presidential candidate faces accusations of firing public safety commissioner Walt Monegan in what amounts to a messy Palin family drama dating to her pre-gubernatorial days. Monegan had refused to fire a state trooper who had divorced Palin's sister.

The accuser is blogger and rental car executive Andrew Halcro, a Republican-turned-Independent who lost to Palin in the 2006 governor's race.

The accused is Palin, the rising Republican star with a clean-hands reputation who has the most to lose.

The man in the middle is former commissioner, Monegan, who says Palin never told him to fire the trooper, but he felt pressure to do so from members of her administration.

Then there's trooper Mike Wooten, who used a Taser on his stepson, Palin's nephew Payton. Wooten has been reprimanded for violating nearly a dozen laws and departmental policies since December 2001.
Associated Press - The Washington Times, America's Newspaper

So the guy making the allogations is the guy she beat in the election for governor (no motive for slander or sour grapes there), nobody says she told him to fire the brother-in-law (leaves us without evidence of any wrongdoing), and the brother-in-law used a taser on his stepson and is continually violaing the law and policies (rogue cop who should be fired).

I'm sure any pressure to fire the trooper was completely personal. Not that he's a liability to the state.

The brother -n-law thing is gonna be about the best they can do. She might have had some influence but this cop was acused of domstic violence. Anybody remember the cop who went home and killed his wife after countless times of her asking for help? You can't have cops beating on anybody let alone their spouses.

99.9% of the politicians have something in their backgrounds that could be construed as scandalous. If this is all they can find on her, she's squeeky-clean as politicians go.

IF McCain/Palin get elected, this will set her up ideally for the 2012 election. That's probably what the other party (Clinton camp) is afraid of.

I haven't seen any rebuttals of this from the GOP side so far... obviously this is either a very tasteless conspiracy theory, or there is something to it.

If this is a hoax, or farse, then she should have responded by now you would think.

If it's NOT true, then write it off as political election year propaganda, if it IS true, McCain is TOAST !!

You would think it would be in the best interest of McCain to debunk this rumor about his VP pick.

That Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter, is one fast breeder. She is supposedly the mother of 5 month old, Down's Syndrome, Trig Palin and is currently 5 months pregnant...

To rebut rumors, Palin says daughter, 17, pregnant
By Steve Holland

ST. PAUL (Reuters) - The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin's five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.

"The despicable rumors that have been spread by liberal blogs, some even with Barack Obama's name in them, is a real anchor around the Democratic ticket, pulling them down in the mud in a way that certainly juxtaposes themselves against their 'campaign of change,"' a senior aide said.
The Dems should just stick to her knowledge and experience. I mean that’s all they got. And then watch! She’s gonna show them although she might not have much experience, she has a wealth of knowledge.

EDIT: Another point here... if her daughter is now pregnant by 5 months, then she got pregnant while she had that alleged case of mono... Hmm, so looks like being BED RIDDEN gave her some time to be RIDDEN IN BED... hehe... just saying..

I smell a miscarriage coming up in a few weeks.

People are clambering for an Obama / Palin debate. :D And he has to validate his credentials to a Vice Presidential nominee. Thats gotta be a first. Rove tells Combs (on Hanity and Combs) " the best thing the Dem's can do is leave her alone". They don't know what to do!
