OMG, OMG, OMFG!!! I FINALLY GOT MY LPU PACK TODAY!!!
Aaaargh! *runs around screaming insanely* It took 13 weeks from payment to unpacking, and OMG I'm so stoked that it's finally here!
And this year we got the intro letter from Rob, which was nice too! *gush* (Last year it was Phoenix if I remember correctly, so y'know, that certainly made me feel better!) Got the calendar, love it, Rob, you horn-bag, I'm pinning you straight on my wall (I wish!)... er... the picture too for that matter, and the shirt's already hanging up next to the one I got last year and have half-worn out already. Been wearing the wristband and listening to the fan CD all afternoon and I have to say their cover of NIN's 'Wish' is EXCELLENT! Awesome stuff! *stands on chair cheering wildly... (as if, she's afraid of heights, remember?)*
Anyway, Jammer's jealous as all **** cause she's still waiting for hers and now, I finally have mine. Just had to tell someone. Feel complete now....
Now I want my Rob stuff from eBay...
(Wanders back outside to wait beside mailbox impatiently yet again...)
Heck, at least I'll look good while I'm waiting this time, huh? *laughs* Ah, you know me, it's all good.

I agree, the Wish cover was great, in fact it was their best song off RaR 2004, along with BTH. I've got a suggestion, sincer LP always do 3 verses of BTH, why not write lyrics for that third verse? That would be better than just playing the first verse twice. BTW can you say thrice (3 times) in English?

Have you read mine? Perverted, huh? I'm a sicko but it's all good. Bear in mind I wrote both of those PRIOR to the Rob obsession, so, you know... explains why he's not really in them. *blushes (sorry Rob!)* He is now though and that's a nice change... *sigh's contentedly*
Anyway, let me known what you think. I sent another fic to SugarnSpice a few months back and she seemed to like it (a different, longer fic than the two I sent you) so... you can critique with her now *laughs*

I know, been offline a few days, been busily writing fic and trying to catch up on sleep! I haven't been up to much, not much going on as usual, but at least it's not a bad day. Caught up with a lot of old acquaintences yesterday, Chrissy, the friend I used to live with and her partner and all her family just about which I haven't been in contact with in AGES! So, it was a bit of a sensory-overload for me, as accustommed as I am to spending my days in front of my computer and 'socialising' via the Internet. *s******s*
Anyway...
The kittens left us yesterday. All of them have gone to new homes now, I miss them *sob* especially little 'Linkin', he was my favourite. Used to curl up behind my back as I typed and sleep, it was so sweet. *sigh* Guess I shouldn't refer to him as a 'He' anymore either, dude at the pet store yesterday said all 3 were females, so Chas, Linkin and Shinizzle the Shiznit, were all of the female persuasion! *laughs* That was news to me... I'm hopeless at telling these things when they're so little. Anyway, they're all gone and the house is quiet once again. Jammer goes over to her ex's on Sunday so the place will be VERY quiet after that I think... *frowns* It'll be eerie being alone again... but maybe I'll be constructive with my time with any luck, yeah?
Hey, I started drawing again last night. Haven't drawn anything in over six months, probably closer to seven or eight (and coincidentally was a portrait I drew of Mike Shinoda) so last night, partly inspired by Jammer's subliminal influences, I tried (poorly) to attempt one of Rob. *thoughtful silence*
All I can say is that I'm drawing again... the end result is not that flattering to the man, but I'm looking at the positive that after many months I'm drawing again, so that's something! I need to work on it, I'm soooo rusty! I hate the fact I've let myself slip after so many years studying and trying to perfect some techniques etc, but I guess all I can do is, to coin a colloquial phrase; 'Get back up on the horse again' and keep going. Hopefully I'll be inspired to draw more. I want to. That's positive! *yay!* Linkin Park have inspired me in so many ways it's incredible, but then I guess it's the forum for all of us to share that sentiment, yeah? I've been listening to them for years, painting to them, writing to them, drawing to them, even creating little Sim versions of them for little storyboard sagas in years passed, as well as figuratively drawing them and painting them (I have a diptych I painted of Chester last year I think hanging in my living room right now, if I had a digital camera I'd upload you a pic and brag about it! *laughs*) but anyway... hopefully it's something I can continue to do.

Even though my comp is slow (and I'm on a dial-up connection so downloads crawl at a snail's pace) I've been downloading a few things from Linkin Inside and came across the clip for LP's cover of NIN's 'Wish'. That song rocks SO FRIKIN' HARDCORE it's been on constant rotation on my CD player since I got my LPU pack the other day. If you've never heard it, head to Linkin Inside and listen to it, it's BRILLIANT to hear LP doing some harder stuff for a change! Freakin' awesome!
Anyway, I managed to pull a few pics from the clip in question, and feel I need to comment on *ahem* shall we say, Rob's physical development over the years. Have you taken a good look at that guy's arms lately?? *looks shocked* I saw the clip (watch it everyday, sometimes several times a day *s******s* Not like I'm obsessed or anything) and my mouth just fell open. I could almost think dear Robbie's been hitting either the steroids or the gym pretty hardcore over the last few months... he just looks to have bulked, ever since LIT. I was comparing pics I have of him since OSC to RaR04 and it's pretty impressive. Given that dumming is a work out in itself, I can understand it really, but still... *feels faint* The guy looks buff now... *wipes drool off chin, keyboard and down the front of shirt*

I'd sell my soul to see him do that in person! *rolls eyes sarcastically* well, If I'm selling my soul I'd make it really worthwhile, but I'm not about to share that on the forums! *laughs blushing*
Just as a side note, been posting over at the boards on LPU (Proud member of Rob's Fan's Klan!) and they have this fan-based polling thread called Band Superlatives, where we just vote on dumb things for our own amusement to do with the band. This week, (poll #29) we had to decide who out of the 6 band members would most likely fail school if they had to go back and do it all again. I said Chas, but that's a long story *chuckles* Anyway, my point is, it was made mentioned that Rob according to rumor, was a bit of a wild-child at school. I was like "WTF?" I'd have thought, looking at him, he'd be the average college jock or something, captain of the football team or something ****** brow sceptically* but someone said aparently he only 'cleaned his act up just before he graduated'... Hmmm. Makes me wonder. He's not stupid cause he's got an accounting degree for ***'s sake, it's not Brain sugery but still impressive none-the-less. I'm just wondering, seeing as though not much is really known about any of the band's scooling years apart from the things we've learnt from interviews etc (Chas looked so cute in his boyscouts uniform as a kid! Awww *gush*) maybe someone's heard something? News? Goss? Speculation? I'm just curious... yeah, fun to hypothesize (s/p?)

She went to Uni today representing in her new shirt, wristband and carrying the Meteora bag, so she's definately doing some representing! *laughs* Me, I'm the opposite. I keep my LP stuff all orderly and neat and collected and almost need to hire body-guards to guard it, that's how fanatical I get. Oh well. Get my Rob drumstick next week, so I've been informed, can't wait! *runs around excitedly* I KNOW no one's going to be touching that when it arrives... it's like the Holy Grail in my collection. I'll be like, "Rob touched that. If you even so much as think about touching it I'll kill you!" *laughs maniacally* Yeah... I'm fanatic. D'uh!
