I am not getting in your face. You're the one who brought it up. Music is subjective, man. For some its about construction and to others it is all about raw power. I hate rap and all of its idiotic offspring. Not a huge fan or country, modern rock, et. al. They are inferior to MY opinion of music. I listen to jazz, the blues, and progressive rock (Pink Floyd for example). I listened to classical growing up and the sound of it now turns my stomach. Big Band era, too. Blech!

You know what pisses me off? Britts and other Foreigners...

Fair enough! I'm telling my dad on you! Boo-hoo, man! Don't whine because you're being attacked and definitely don't respond with your superiority complex. You will only rub salt into it. You want to stick around, then develop a sense of humor. Fire back at me! Piss me off! See there's that raw emotion, brother. Save it, though! Save it for the Off Topic Forum forum! That's where it works. If you oppose my opinions, then you're an asshole. Because my opposition of your opinions makes me an asshole. See how it works... don't use that old hat of an argument. -
I used to beat the shit out of douchebags like you. I play the guitar, I was in the Drum and Bugle Corp, I marched with a Quad A Band, I play the trombone, trumpet, and baritone, I am not a classical pianist, but I know how to play. Tonic Chord When we speak of a note in a scale, we can refer to it by its number- 'G' is note number 1 of a G-major scale- or by its technical name- 'G' is the tonic note in a G-major scale. A technical name not only identifies a note, but can also give us information as to the function of a note within a scale. Further, we can build chords on all of the various notes in a scale, and identify those chords by the technical name. (i.e., a tonic chord) The tonic is the first note of a musical scale, and in the tonal method of musical composition it is extremely important. The triad formed on the tonic note, the tonic chord, is thus the most important chord. More generally, the tonic is the pitch upon which all other pitches of a piece are hierarchically centered. After tonic, the names of the remaining scale degrees (of a diatonic scale) in order are as follows: supertonic - 2nd scale degree, mediant - 3rd Scale degree, subdominant - 4th Scale degree, dominant - 5th Scale degree, submediant - 6th Scale degree, leading Tone - 7th Scale degree, subtonic - Also 7th scale degree, but applying to the lowered 7th found in the natural minor scale. In western European tonal music of the 18th and 19th centuries, the tonic center was the most important of all the different tone centers which a composer used in a piece of music, with most pieces beginning and ending on the tonic, usually travelling to the dominant (the fifth above the tonic, or the fourth note up from the tonic) in between. There can be major scales and minor scales. The tonic remains the same in these two different "modes," for a given key, wheareas scale degrees such as the third degree and the sixth degree are altered in the minor scale. Howevever, this can be seen another way. Each minor scale uses exactly the same set of notes (key signature) as some major scale and vice-versa. The only difference is which of these notes is the tonic. For example, C major and A minor have no sharps or flats. Consequently, the tonic plays an important part in determining why music composed in a minor scale sounds different from music composed in a major scale. A tonic may be considered a tonal center, while a pitch center functions referentially or contextually in an atonal context, often acting as axis or line of symmetry in an interval cycle. Pitch centricity was coined by Arthur Berger in his "Problems of Pitch Organization in Stravinsky". The tonic diatonic function includes four separate activities or roles as the principal goal tone, initiating event, generator of other tones, and the stable center neutralizing the tension between dominant and subdominant.

Maybe you misunderstood me, moelarryandcurly565. I was telling you my opinion. Mr. Tough Guy behind the screen of a computer... an old bit. What have you got left in your bag of tricks? No.. not the race card! Get used to the attacks, brother. That's one of the many features of this site.. we pull no punches or bar no holds. You attack someone and don't expect retaliation, think again. Have you not browsed the countless threads on GF? They seem to spin around and go in circles even if there is only one post answering. It's the bread and butter and the bulk of this site. Personally, you haven't done anything to me. To be quite honest, except for your idiotic comments in another thread, you have yet to offend anyone. You show your stupidity, yes, but stupidity is not really offensive. Yes! Logic should be prevelant in all things! This forum isn't really designed for logical explanations. This is where you come to at the end of that day to rant about what you heard on the radio, what a coworker did, etc etc Logic has nothing to do with base, core hate and anger. The Debate Forum and Speak Your Mind is more of a place to exercise your wits and expand your noggin. It is set up that way for a reason. You will find that I move posts around and will usually move them based on the direction of the discussion. No matter if it starts in Off Topic Forum or Speak Your Mind. Yes.. there is a lot of stupidity in this thread. However, it ain't coming from me. cough Enjoy yourself. -
Just because you are cock-sucking snobbish brat-boy doesn't make you any better than me or hugo or any fucker on this site. Don't think for a second any one of us can't match you in musical knowledge. I know I can. Music is a matter of opinion and a matter of one's personal taste. Be thankful that its there for you to listen to.

If I were dead, how would I be disturbed if my body was thrown in the woods?

Oh my fucking God! Where did you get this information from? The conservative right-wing stuffed shirts are just as much to blame as the liberals. The current administration is Republican-owned and they haven't done shit to improve border security. I'm not happy about the illegals, either. It should be stopped, at least until we have our shit together with these terrorists. On that note, you think that shooting people bearing children and the elderly is the answer to the immigration problem? We would make legitimate enemies this way. Well coming over here illegally is a lot easier than it is to come here legally. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Do you wake up every morning hating yourself? Why not? I'd hate me, too, if I were you. -

Hey, hey, hey! Fucktard! This is not the DEBATE forum! Goddamn fucking newbie shitheel! Read the headers! -
Are you asking or telling? If you ask me, anytime a (Alec) Baldwin is invited to an awards show it turns into a limp-wristed liberal political agenda. Bravo! To him! I hate his fucking ass, but he is celebrating one of the few rights we have in this country! Free speech! I despise much of the liberal agenda, but they have the RIGHT to speak up and out. Not that the filth they spew forth is of any worth or merit... any fool can figure that out. Uhh... Crash won Best Picture at the 78th Annual Academy Awards If you haven't seen it, then check it out. It is by far the best movie produced in the last couple of years. Phillip Seymour Hoffman won Best Actor for his role in Capote. A fantastic movie, however Hoffman stole the show in every fucking scene. Just to name a few examples... As you can see here. (<---clicky-clicky), Brokeback has to be a decent movie or it wouldn't have gotten the acclaim it has. And despite the liberals (???) this movie was on par with the others it was nominated with. Also, by looking at the award graph, you can tell that Brokeback didn't win in the major catagories. Evidently, fags in movies is an old hat. Well since "buddy pictures" started it all, why can't they be lovers as well? I always thought that Sly Stallone and Kurt Russell made a cute couple. Follow this link here.. As you can see, Crash won two of the biggies at the Acadamy Awards. All I can tell you to do here, brother, is to turn off the television. If you don't like what you see, turn your head. Not that I'm happy with it myself, however I have other forms of entertainment to occupy my time. Where in the fuck have you been? You mean to tell me this whole time, you have just recently begun watching television? For the ill-informed, Hollywood has ALWAYS thought of the Joe Lunchpails and Jack Commoner in this way. Nothing new here, nothing to see. I do believe the more grounded actors, those who have been humbled in some way, are a little more in tune with the American viewing public. Where in the fuck did you hear this? If you think so, brother. Don't like us, leave us. Go live amongst the Froggies and the Limeys out there. I'm positive that you'll fit in. Yeah... I let my neighbor borrow my hoe last week. He never gave me any drug money. What an asshole! Speak for yourself, thug-nasty. Didn't your write and conduct the score for Brokeback Mountain?

I have a cousin, whether he is terminally stupid or terminally lucky has yet to be determined, who has worked for Wal-Mart since he was sixteen years old. He is now forty-two and sits on the Atlanta Division's Board of Directors and is a General Manager of fifteen plus stores. Wal-Mart put him through school, paid most of his tuition, helped him out with various expenses, provided counsel for his divorce last year, and the list is endless. The company is like the USMC, in that they have the ability to take care of their own. Whether its financial or psychological, Wal-Mart is there. Wal-Mart, despite their hiring practices and the rank of people that frequent them, has become the center in whatever community they are in. I shop there, only at four in the morning, because the freaks start at eight and the ne'erdowells and scofflaws start at eleven.

I tried to give you REP for this remark, Vorty. That means I have to SPREAD it around before I can give it to you again. Sounds like herpes. -

Ladies and Gentlemen... We have a meeting of the minds here. Sixes and Tonon are posting in the same discussion. Grab your cocks, grab your socks, grab something; this is going to be interesting.

Really? I doubt it.

Fucktard. Careful who you call dumb workers. I've known people that would start off as buggy haulers and in ten to twelve years become Division President. Wal-Mart creates jobs and will employ virtually anyone, however can we really condemn a company that creates revenue for the town they are in? For Christ's sake, Wal-Mart (Along with Home Depot.) were the first to respond to Hurricane Katrina!
