I'm sorry but I don't buy that. Hate is inside yourself, why allow external issues/conditions/events to create hate inside yourself? I am always surprised at the capacity for hate in some people, but that capacity is them, not anyone else.

The problem is, the mass majority of those who vote Liberal do not pay any or much tax anyway, so why would they care? They are only voting for people like Obama because they are promising to take from the "rich" to give it to them. The small number of strict liberals/socialists like Bender do it out of some kind of feelings of guilt. They have success but they feel as though they have not really earned that success so they gladly embrace out of control taxes as a kind of penance for what they see as their own sin/evil that they need to make up for.

I don't see your point, the "Modern" liberals forced the irresponsible lending rules, Clinton signed the fist state of the program of forced loans into action and several attempts by the Republicans to rein this program back was stopped again, by the liberals. The biggest attempt was by the Republicans in 2004 where the Liberals said the Republicans were just "fear mongering" (sounds familure) and even accused a couple of the Republicans for being racist because they were trying to stop minorities from getting afordable loans. That direct act from the liberals to force bad loans to be written did create the new atmosphere for loans and risk taking but at the same time, once the ball was rolling, many irresponsible groups decided to learn from the Government who was setting the example and took the ball and ran with it. In Florida if a woman applies for welfare for a child she must give the name of a man as the father. They submit that name to the court to have child support ordered for the child and the notice is sent to whatever address the mother gives. They do not have to have verified process service. So a man can be ordered to pay child support for a child he did not create and even with DNA testing proving he is not the father, too bad, your still paying for the child. It is estimated that around 30% of all child support paid by men is for children they did not father.

It used to me a men's industry but it is now bring more and more controlled by women both in production and in directing. Women actors also make twice the income as the men do so I really do not see how porn is bad for women. Women have been "selling their goods" long before porn came along. Porn is not on every checkout line Ali, so it's impact is close to nothing in the formation of young girls development. But what the young girls are bombarded with is women's magazines in every checkout line all Women pressuring other women, men have little to do with the pressures of appearance and behaviors of women. I am sorry, I know you will blow up at me but the only thing that has changed is the attitudes of the girls. It is that mentality that makes an Obama Presidency possible Ali. It just seems the average person has no concept of self-control so they just do whatever comes to mind then they need to get help dealing with the very bad results of their decisions. Well women/girls do it to themselves as well, women's magazines come to mind....and women's fashion stores. Men would find a woman attractive wrapped in just plain cloth, it is women who push each other to the extremes. Well your story about the pot head makes the point of why most people see that level of worker as fairly low. Hard to respect that the workers can abuse drugs and nobody cares. This is the hardest mentality to get out of guys who I hire for basic labor. They have it in their minds that they will only work so much because their rate of pay is low in their opinion. Here is the problem with that: You set your trends of work and even if you do step up the pace a little after a raise, you will fall back on the pace you have always known. I never give a raise to someone until they have earned it and show they can consistently work to that standard and every raise is probationary for 90 days so if they drop their pace, I take it back, and possibly let them go because they have dissapointed me at that point. But, good for you in getting away from that mess and moving on. I don't really like Wal-Mart because I see them as part of our lost jobs problem but I don't begrudge anyone working for them. I just do not shop there myself unless I have to. Starter jobs are like starter homes, you keep trying to work your way up to better levels until you feel you have what you feel is good for you. Some people stay happy with the fast food and a trailer to live in, some never find enough, Most really happy people are in the middle somewhere.

Because your basing your comment on "ONLY" her comments, I am basing mine on millions of Canadians who have been involved in these studies. Their own government waiting lits reports. The Canadian supreme court. The Canadian doctors groups. Even videos like the one IWS posted where real life Canadians are asked about their experiences in an unscripted and spontanious way. I can respect what emkay says and take it as part of the whole to be sure, but just the Canadian supreme court alone makes her comments not very believable in comparison. Surely their own supreme Court knows what is going on. I have been researching Canadian and other socialist healthcare systems from the first Clinton administration because they promised it back then. I was honestly surprised when the massive problems with very long waiting lists for basic (but not emergency) health care became so bad that everyone just gave up and started a convention every year to celebrate it with the "taming of the queue". And several year later have waiting times improved? Some have, yes, but most waiting times have gotten worse. MRI waiting times for example have gotten much, much worse. The data does not lie. It is not interested in saving face or being politically correct. It is what it is.

Oh I agree, some people do look down on those who work in the "lowly possitions" as he is describing but my point from the start is it does not matter how other people see you. All that matters is if you want more then go get more, it is all up to you. You can't live your life being concerned about how other people see you. Look at myself for example. How about the canadian doctors who have banded together to complain about the loss of doctors estimated to be at over 10,000 short? How about the nurses telling people they better just go pay $900 at the private office because they will otherwise have to wait two years just to get a doctor? The massive flood of evidence proving the Canadian system is broken is just overwhelming. As I pointed out to her before but her and you cannot seem to understand. I can say the same thing about healthcare in America from my point of view too. I get in to see a doctor anytime I want. When Tami got her elective surgery it took two weeks to set the appoiontment. My tests for a possible heart problem took about a month combined for 7 seperate tests and appointments. I added it up and in Canada what took me a month would have been over 14 years of waiting for the same specialist visits. I have never personally had a problem with American healthcare so based on that same standard you want me to show emkay, every other fact on the issue must be ignored because my personal experiences have all been great......right? Please. I respect emkay but her word does not erase all the facts on this issue that directly proves that her experiences are the exception, not the rule. Not once has she addressed the suppreme court ruling that the waiting lists are killing Canadians. Not once has she addressed the yearly "taming of the queue" conference where this massive problem she has never heard of is discussed in great detail. Not once has she admitted that thousands of Canadians are shipped to America every year because Canada does not have the capacity to treat them for things like premature births and heart problems. Not once has emkay admitted that government control means government rationing and it is the government rationing that is making the waiting lines so long in Canada. Did you even see her speak on the woman who lost her legs? A woman lost both her legs because of the year long waiting line before she could get treatment and that does not even get a small reply but she can toss in lots of jokes about why those people do not deserve reasonable care. I guess emkay is part of the Canadians "who count" while everyone else who is getting bad treatment do not count.

All reports show that even if Americans froze current use levels instead of increase as we will do even with cap and trade, China's use will more than double in ten years so cap and trade is only one thing, a way to make money for the liberals who will be running it. Cap and trade will tripple energy costs for a very large segment of the poor in this Country when at the same time the poor are in tougher times every day. Why would an administration who ran on the idea of helping the poor turn around and hurt them instead? Because Obama and company will make billions off of cap and trade, that is all that matters to them. Universal healthcare was an old idea when Hillary Clinton promised it to us during Bill's first term in office. Liberals do not have ideas, they have goals of creating a socialist Nation and making money for themselves, nothing else. Innovative ideas like keeping what you earn? What kind of ideas do you want them to come up with? When you say ideas you mean spend more tax money. Conservatives do not want to increase taxes so why would they want to make new programs that cost more money? The idea was always to do what is right, not what is popular, at least that was the founding Father's idea. I will say this, everyone is from one degree or another wanting to be socialist. Obama has outdone 8 years of Bush in just a couple months in wasted tax dollars and increase in Government powers over our every day lives. We will get the health care bill, but most of the cost from that will not be seen until more and more people sign up for it. It is estimated to compound in cost over and over again in the 4 to 5 year range where it is expected to cost well over 10 trillion dollars and keep climbing more and more. Right now China has requested a meeting that will happen the end of this month and many are saying they are scared Obama is going to bankrupt America with this healthcare bill and that means the debt their holding is in trouble. The question is always, where will the money come from? Right now they are talking about massive increases in taxes for the "rich" but that will take care of about 7% of the total cost, so where does the rest of the money come from? Who pays? Everyone turn your pointer finger at yourself and you will see where the money is comming from.

I also know a lady who started working for Hardee's as a second job. 11 years later she is now a reginal manager of some sort, not sure of her title but she travels three days a week to different stores doing different things for the head office. I believe she told me she makes around 60k now so there are ways to make money with these companies that is very good.

But what about the lady who lost both her legs waiting for treatment Emkay? That is part of what you say is free but it is only free if you can get the treatment while your waiting. While your waiting your not getting any treatment, your instead getting "NO" treatment during the wait. This was my point to you before. While you may have all sweet and jucy treatment in your small area, the wider range of the general medical care for all Canadians is much, much different than what your talking about. The average Canadian is suffering greatly from your "free" healthcare. Did you see two nurses tell the guys they better go use the paid system? Why would they do that emkay if there were no problems as you keep saying? One person told the guy he would have to wait two years to get a doctor but that was okay because he was young and did not need medical care. Really? The young do not need any care? I just do not see how anyone can look at that system where a woman must lose her legs because it takes over a year to help her and say it is not broken.
