That is exactly what she said and what you replied to, stop trying to reshuffle the deck, it is what it is, no point in trying to reinvent what has been said, just say it out straight instead of dodging with your personal flames. Do you think she should have to sell her home to pay for false legal battles?
-
Saying negative that is the truth or saying negative that is a lie are two completely different things. Were they telling the truth or a lie and does that speak to their character? I think so. Anyway, back to the topic, do you think the positives from a Government run healthcare system will offset the massive loss of private sector jobs? I guess they will be able to get healthcare but someone with 10 years experience in filing medical claims will not really have many job opportunities. How many private sector jobs is Obama willing to sacrifice in his term?
-
Back at you big guy, when your crying from all the "I told you so" comments from people like me when your guy falls flat on his face in utter failure.
-
When Emkay said Sarah could sell her 12 million dollar home to pay her legal bills you replied in agreement and said this. If you were not agreeing that Sarah should sell her home as Emkay mentioned then I am sorry for not understanding you. So you then agree with me that Sarah should not be forced to sell things like her home just to defend herself from false claims....right?

Not really, maybe when he first poped on the scene I had doubts of him beating Hillary, I don't really remember that much detail of how I viewed him in the beginning. I just knew a Socialist would win, what Socialist really never mattered to me. I do think it is interesting that both his Vice and his secretary of State both said Obama was too nieve to be President, lol. Once the stage was set with Obama versus McCain, I knew only a miracle could get McCain elected.
-
Sure you did, you said she could sell it to pay her legal bills and she didn't need it anyway because she was supposed to be living elsewhere. But my point is she will not be govenor forever just like Obama will not be President forever so why should she sell her home and have no home for herself and her children just to pay for false legal battles? Seems sort of stupid to be standing on the street with no home but you can claim your pride is intact.
-
I never said that, I said from day one that a socialist would win the next election, they would simply play the "I'm not Bush" card and win easily. The question was always if he could beat out Hillary, she was the defacto next President until Obama built such a "religious" type of following where people were even passing out just looking at him.
-
So Obama should sell his home because he is supposed to be living at the whitehouse? Sometimes it is just too easy shooting you guys down, lol.
-
I just love it, you say she should send her children to live in the streets just to fight crap that is 100% politically driven by people who fear her? Blind fighting is all pride, and pride does not put groceries on the table. I love the house comment too, like she should have to lose her home and the home of her children just to fight false claims. Easy to claim you ladies would take your family down into complete distruction just for pride alone......I know I would never do anything of the sort, my children are more valuable to me than my pride.

There has been a lot of claims going around about how this forced health insurance plan will help people and many even try to beat opponents over the head with calling the program something Christians should want to do and other dirty tactics to force this idea down our throats but how much will it hurt and how much will it help on a overall basis? First of all you have to pay for it, some estimates say 1 trillion, some say more but we know from experience that every program ever created by the Federal Government has had their cost estimates be way, way low. Low or not we don't even have the 1 trillion so new tax money must be found to pay for it and in a already stressed economy, there is no way to get such massive amounts of money without causing a lot of pain..... Next we have the general agreement of all parties that to one degree to another this will end all private insurance, maybe not all at once but clearly the lack of having to make a profit will give the Government plan the lions share of the customers and lead to a lot of lost jobs in America. One of the links Emkay provided spoke of how American doctors have several workers in each office dedicated to filing for many different insurance companies and once we go to one Government insurer, you no longer need these workers and the lower payouts will make you fire them even if you want to keep them. I have no idea how many medical offices there are in America but if say 2 to 3 people in each office is fired per office and we add in all the insurance company firings I bet we can see hundreds of thousands of jobs lost because of this Government health plan. Employees who previously had great medical coverage with high coverages will be forced to lose their plans and accept the lower coverage of the Government plan on top of being herded into long waiting times for limited treatments. So, high cost we can't pay for. Hundreds of thousands of lost jobs further increasing unemployment and reducing tax income for the Govenrment. Jobs lost from the private sector. Lower quality care for all people. Obama will go down in the books as the President who killed the most private sector jobs and increased our debt the most.
-
I agree, that was my weak attempt at humor where those of us with jobs had other things on our minds, lol. I personally love how many people who didn't want anything to do with Michael are now his "biggest" supporters. A real shame so many people are so two faced.
-
Anything can be too much in excess. How many times would you want to fight fake complaints and how much of your savings would you want to spend on standing against these false claims? As a parent alone you have to let go of pride and remember that if she goes broke fighting these false claims it is her children who will suffer for that pride. Will you volunteer to pay her legal fees if she fights?

Say it again my friend, say it again and never stop. Where does this attitude of entitlements come from? Kids today behave like everything should just be handed to them...and why not have that attitude when the Liberals are out there all saying the exact same thing? Our children have learned from their example that nobody should ever earn anything, that Government should provide for all our wants. -

You think 80 degrees is hot? Here in Florida a clear sunny day can get you well over 100 degrees and that combined with a very high humidity that you do not see in places like Arizona can make it feel like 120 degrees. Very toasty... But we do not have to worry about blizzards and such, so I will gladly take the heat, lol. Besides, I have an AC business now so this is money making time.

Well it is a good game to try and twist what I say into things you want me to be saying but that does not work on anyone with a basic understanding of politics. Sticks and carrots. Give the public what they want so you can use that as a tool to control the public. Let me offer a very simplified version of the larger concept: Child wants a specific new toy, child begs and pleads for new toy constantly and has birthday comming up so feels sure that with the right amount of pleading he should be able to get said toy. Birthday comes along and sure enough, the expected new toy does appear and the child is happy and feels accomplishment for a successfuly executed plan to get the toy he wanted and has fun with the toy. Then one day he messes up and parent takes away new toy as punnishment and sets a series of requirements for the child to get back his new toy. Child does as instructed in his desire to get the new toy back and also learns to not do whatever it was that caused the toy to be taken away. The "mob" wants a new toy too, several new toys in fact and they have what they feel is a person willing to give them whatever they want in Obama. Obama is sitting back and listening to the most common requests and trying to make them all happen no matter what it costs because for every "new toy" he can give these children, that gives him and his movement a new element of control. Vote for Liberals/socialists and you get new toys. Vote for Republicans/ Conservatives and they take the new toys away. Very basic control.

Cry hell, is that what a liberal would do is the situation were reversed so you think that is what a Conservative would do? No, we keep up the pressure, make our possitions known and offer our views anyway and when we are shown to be right and our predictions ring true, you guys are proven to be what we say you are. Look at Canada, the liberals/socialists had a death grip on Canada but in recent years conservative leaders have been comming to the front because the people are tired of being ripped apart by people who claim to be "helping" them. I do like the last part of your movie, they have nobody to blame now. When Obama took office he ran on a lot of promises all based on knowing what the job was, it was lame to after the fact lean on the crutch of "I inherited" it. Of course he inherited the small part of it, that is what he was campaigning on to be able to fix. Obama has made it worse but is still crying about how he "inherited" this or that......well time to stop crying and be responsible. Obama knew what the challenges were before taking office, he now has the power to do anything he wants to do. No more excuses. Everything that happens now is 100% his fault. Obama thinks it is great having this unstoppable power? Now the public knows he has limitless power, so if he does not produce fast and great results, the public might just decide to hold him accountable because before he had excuses, now he does not.
-
You can't be this stupid. Taking possitions that are favorable to the general public is what endears them to you. Every liberal is fawning over Obama as their lord and savior because he knows how to play them like a fiddle. Any possition on something like Iran will have no real impact on controlling America in general so it is a "SAFE" issue to sit back and wait for the opinion polls to be sure he does only what is popular. Even France spoke out before Obama did, several days before in fact, lol. The concept of mob rule applies to what the Liberals are doing to entrap the hearts and minds of the general public. Give the crowd what they think they want and slowly make them your slaves. A Government Big Enough to Give You Everything You Want, is Strong Enough to Take Everything You Have.
-
You know, those who are employed sure do miss out on a lot of stuff.
-
Well Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton are definately not Republicans, lol. The Liberals play both sides of the fence with race because it is another tool of power. Keep people divided and create class warfare so the people are mad at each other and not paying attention to their leadership. The Democrats are the ones who keep talking about how one group or another are different, while the Conservatives are talking about how we are all the same. I don't care what color you are or what religion (or lack of religion) you practice.....all I care about is if someone is pulling their own weight in this world or not. If your an abuser from small things like "ABUSING" (this does not mean justified) welfare up to big things like being a criminal, then in my mind your bad for the Nation. If your productive and taking care of your responsibilities in life then I love you.

My name is not Alex first of all, try to get some of these thing straight, lol. I am done on this line, I pointed it out very well for anyone with a basic understanding of english and politics, your feigned ignorance is no longer funny so I will leave it there. I will close with a simple concept: You either earn your way through life, or you don't.

My goodness, was my wiki link to the Canadian supreme court finding that bad really? I did read it and it was pretty accurate as far a general info goes, did you see something from that wiki link that was not accurate Emkay? My point was not so much the details but snaff asking about a link to show it happened so I grabbed the fastest link, I already know all about the finding so I was just helping someone else. Emkay, you saying from your limited exposure everything is fine with your program is the same as me saying mine is okay, we both know about what we are exposed to but we do not even see 1% of the total. I know America has problems mostly with the gap between poor who get free medical care and the middle class who can afford their own medical care. I have never lived in the middle long enough to actually experience a medical need during either of my two rebuildings so just based on my experience all I can say is there is no problems in that range but my research tells me that there is a problem so when talking on a general scale, I must admit there is a few cracks in our system. The same is true for your Canadian system Emkay, while you personally have never experienced any negative things at all from your system, your exposure is very limited so again we must look at the bigger picture with studies and even your supreme court findings to see that bigger picture. IWS, Don't you know that Bender knows more about these things than groups like the Lewin Group? Funny stuff. It is reasonable to assume that if a less costly insurance option is available to all people, it will hurt private insurance companies, and even Bender admitted that earlier with comments like this: Anyone with a brain knows there is no way for the private insurance companies to compete against a system designed to lose money and be happy they lost money because it is "what the people want". -

Ali, I have never disputed Emkay's point from her personal point of view, I dispute where she claims the waiting times are not as bad as reported. She can love her "free" medical care all she wants, that does not erase the facts that I have posted to where even her own supreme court has said their waiting lines are killing Canadians. Emkay even denied there were Canadians being shipped to American hospitals for things like premature births and caridiac problems because the Canadian system is so clogged up they can't treat everyone so America is Canada's safety net. Emkay's views are very significant on this issue on her isolated point of view, but her claims studies were all made up and false and her ignoreing the ruling of the supreme court show she is not being completely honest about the overall medical care in Canada. How do you explain the Taming of the Queue annual conferences if everything is so fine and reasonable as Emkay claims Ali? They have this for no reason? -
Is that not what we are doing now? Most people in the party are running scared and caving into what they previously called their values just to try and salvage a term of office. Even Bush went mostly Liberal at the end of his time in office in many ways just to try and change some of how he was viewed. As much as I speak out against it I honestly believe America will turn completely socialist one day because our leaders are more in love with their personal power than doing what is right for the Nation. Obama and most other leaders govern by opinion polls, when things like the Iran elections happened did you see a leader speak out right away on the right/wrong of the situation or did you instead see a crafty politician wait for the dust to settle and take the side of the opinion polls? We are driven by mob rule now.
-
Certainly possible, I agree that many Republicans are no longer trying to be conservative and are instead almost Democrats in their out of control spending. The only real salvaging element with most of them is they still support State rights and that is one of my big things with Government. I really wish a real conservative party can rebuild from the ashes, either taking back the Republican party or making a new party based on conservative values and not selling out our values just to try and appease the latest fads in government.
