Yes, to a certain degree religious people do this too, it is most likely a basic human trait to desire to see yourself as right and everyone else as wrong. Nobody is trying to tell a woman what to do with her body. The woman already made that "choice" of what to do with her body when she had the risky unprotected sexual encounter. The result of that "choice" created a life. An abortion is not a choice, it is a (bad) reaction to a choice already made and a way to escape taking responsibility for that "choice". Attempting to call the life something else is simply playing semantics. If not interrupted, a person is borne, it is life. Also, what matters if it is unconscious? Are you saying murder is okay as long as the life you kill does not feel pain?

Like it or not, we are in a world economy and any large Country going down will throw everyone into a mess from one degree to another. Our stock market dropping had severe effects all over the world. We are importing massive amounts of goods that we no longer produce. That depresses our economy but it props up other economies. Once that flow is suddenly stopped, well it will not be pretty. Maybe that is the end of the world predicted in the Bible. Maybe we will all collapse and the last world war will be set off and all the nukes will finally be unleashed causing the destruction of man.

Well I also had issues with a few other possitions he has taken but he promised he listened to the people and modified his goals to reflect the strong beliefs of his party base. I was not very excited about him because I was not sure how solid his promise was or if he was just claiming to drop his Liberal possitions to get elected. He went a long way to proving his promise was genuine by selecting a very tough person like Palin as his running mate. This comment by him is actually true most of the time. Get away from liberal and conservative for a moment and really look around, can you honestly say anyone you see would want to pick lettice? There is a void in these kinds of jobs, the void is being filled by people who are willing to do them. In this case it is illegals. If a man can travel from Mexico to AZ and get a job, why can't an American? The American 'can' but sees that kind of job as beneath them when they can just go on welfare and make more money. Look, we have to see his entire comment to understand what he was saying, listen closely, he said the "entire" season. Most people work a short time in jobs like that and quit. This was his point. I worked tobacco, watermellons and hay from the age of 12. I also worked on my family farm and a couple other farms doing odd jobs. There days there are no kids doing these jobs anymore, they are above that kind of thing. We are creating a society where being lazy is normal. I do not agree with amnesty for illegals, but I do agree with a guest worker program with ID's and make them pay their share of taxes. America was founded on the principle of immigration, new people came to America and competing for jobs has always come down to working harder for less money to earn a job. An employer willing to pay you money to work was considered a good thing. Modern Americans see themselves as priceless and want the employers to pay them for doing nothing. Unions have driven the cost of our products so high that companies started moving their plants over seas to workers who would appreciate the job. Right now I have a Cousin who is a janitor with GM. His union wage is $22.15 an hour. If a janitor can make that kind of money, you can only imagine what the other people are making. I am surprised we have any American inustry when we have that kind of overhead that must be put into every product we produce.

The complaining your talking about was my offering my "opinion" to the proposed rules, as we were told to do in that thread. The only disruption on the forum was the disruption in the staff forum where you were discussing how to get rid of me without the benefit of me ever breaking any rules. Oh I am sorry, when you said that nobody was banned for their opinions I thought you really meant ever, I had no idea you were limiting your comment to recent history. I missed your order to not talk of facts from the past. Okay, what rule infractions did I have that earned me the ban? The "much more" your talking about was personal feelings of the staff and had nothign to do with my breaking rules. The new rule was that people had to play ostritch and ignore people instead of complaining whrn they were acting poorly. I pointed out that it seemed unfair to make people play ostritch and that other types of abuse could happen that the ignore feature could not block, such as the shoutbox. I even offered something from my rules to try and help the situation. This was all done in a thread where our opinions of the rule was asked for, even eddo commented that I should not have been banned because I was doing what you guys asked us to do in the thread you said do it in. If I was not banned for rule violations, clearly I was banned for personal reasons, personal reasons being you did not like my opinions, Bender even said it clearly when he banned me he did not want complainers. Can't get much more direct than that.

Stop pretending you still have me blocked, you know darn well you look at what I post. It was Chi being hypocritical, not me. If anything I was defending the right of all women to be judged by their actions, not their looks. Why is it Liberals all "say" they want this for all women but when they are challenged with a Conservative woman who is that very definition of professional and successful, all you liberals get hung up on is her looks? Actually that would be incorrect. A change in rules was implimented and we were asked to comment on it and ask questions. I asked questions and pointed out that things such as the shoutbox could still be abused (as recently shown to be true when I made that point long ago). Bender said complainers were not welcome (not exact words but words to that effect) and banned me without me ever violating a single rule. This was from a situation where a certain person was breaking the rules almost daily but never banned. But, this same person used the "I know you are" debate style of avoiding direct questions the same as Bender does. Maybe it was all just professional courtesy for similar mindsets, maybe not, but there are questions to be sure.

I love Canadians, we have lots of them here in Florida escaping with what is left of their savings to avoid the taxes there. Canadians are like our family, I may not like everything they do but I would defend them like I would defend America.

I am starting to understand that Bender is not really interested in anythign that does not conform to his Liberal programming. I am still baffled by his "privilege" useage, he is the only one tryign to insert this into the conversation without any explanation why? Look Bender, the entire conversation on my part was about how you Liberals attack her "GREATER" executive experience but completely ignore the fact that Obama has "NO", (let me say this again) "No" executive experience at all, not even one day, much less years of experience like Sarah Palin has. Well, if things are getting that bad we will see it comming. I agree with your assessment that LA will be the first to go and other towns will follow suit. I have land and assets that are not American so if things get that bad, I will take care of mine and dissapear. I can see it happening if it gets as bad as your saying about a total disruption of paychecks and stuff but I do not see these sheep taking action for anything less than that kind of total breakdown of society and government. And yes, Canada needs America strong to continue, we buy almost all of their exported oil for example and we even buy electricity for most of the north east corner of America from Canada. If we go, they go.

Just because you don't like what I said that does not make it irrelivant. Everythign I posted was clear and 100% accurate, if you would like to rebut and offer some examples of Obama managing things in an executive capacity I would gladly asses new info but so far you seem desperate to discout real and hard facts proving Palin has experience of an executive nature but refuse to admit Obama has none. No matter how you slice it, the more you say she is not qualified, the more you bury Obama because he is less qualified than she is. Wrong again, small town mayors do not have the big budgets larger towns have. While there may be some part time advisors on a limited basis, the Mayor and staff directly do their own budget crunching. They also face the direct reaction fo their budget like many small town mayors having to deal with the gas price increases doubling their budgets without having the funds ready. There small town Mayors have to be jacks of all trades to a certain degree. Even if you were right, how does that matter? She is still dealing with difficult executive decisions every day just managing the city workers and such. Her executive experience is long and filled with success. Instead of trying to bring down Sarah Palin's great accomplishments, why not instead tell us about Obama's executive accomplishments, that is if he has any. Is that your motive? You know Obama is not qualified so now you Liberals are busy trying to bring her down to your level?

I never tried to stuff them with anything else, I will try that this weekend. I know, me loving to cook makes me odd, I am also the only male school volunteer at my kids elementary school, lol. There are a few men on the PTA but I am the only man on most of the parent/school groups for giving our opinions on things like the sex education classes to the investigations the school does. Combine that with me being 6 foot 2 inches tall and 265 pounds and you have a very odd guy, lol. I love your parenting even if others try to poke holes in it, I have almost the same policy, run, run, run some more till they drop, very little time for television, lol.

Hey, I love baking stuff for school. I have always been the cook in my home, I always tell my women I don't mind cooking as long as they help me clean up. My special is cream puffs, very few people still know how to make these from scratch but I make them at least once a month. Stuffed Lamb chops is my favorite meal to fix for company. My little girl is 10 and is more a tomboy at this point. I have had her in martial arts for 5 years now and she is very into several sword styles right now. I started wearing pads when we open hand spar last year because she hits harder than some guys do now. My sister's kid is two months younger than mine and she got her "visitor" and is developing bumps already. I am dreading this new arrival with my daughter (it just seems too soon). I know it is normal but I will miss her being my little girl. As I consider her getting older and developing into a young woman, I find myself looking around trying to see things the way she might see them, to try and understand why so many girls end up either in dead end relationships or swinging on a striper pole. I see my job as doing everything in my power to teach her that she is important and loved. I treat her special and I am trying to instill in her that it is okay to be a woman and be successful, that you don't have to sell your pride or womanhod to make your way through life.
